OK this game is looking awesome. I've seen it before but now it's looking a hell of a lot more polished and should be a lot of fun. Basically the game starts during the apocalypse... and not like nuclear apocalypse or meteoric apocalypse... the biblical apocalypse. The problem is that it wasn't supposed to happen. You play as War one of the four horsemen. You have been made the scapegoat for the apocalypse occurring and you have been stripped of your powers (somehow) and now must regain them and find out who's behind the conspiracy (or maybe you know and you want revenge). IGN have a new hands-on, there's a new trailer (with the compulsory voice-over by a guy with a deep, gravely voice) and a 10 minute gameplay walkthrough. It doesn't look perfect yet, the camera needs work but it looks really really good. It's like a fusion of God of War (action, setting, blood) and Zelda (overall game structure). Should be loads of power-ups which change the gameplay, lots of dungeons with puzzles and many huge bosses. Interesting tidbit: Mark Hamill is voicing a major character in the game! I saw a trailer for this a few months ago and was really impressed! Wow seeing the trailer again has me really psyched. I might have to give LBP a tiny TINY vacation to get into this. Any idea when it hits stores?

Sometimes this year I think. IGN says TBA 2009, Wikipedia says Q2 2009... will most likely be this fall I think though hopefully it will be earlier and miss the fall competition.
