VIDEO - Music level: Crazy Train

Archive: 20 posts

My very first music level is being made. I sucked at making music levels before, but after I found this sweet level by Rbcrews84 with a free piano scale I got really good with making music. I knew how to play Crazy Train on the guitar, so I looked up how to tune a guitar with a piano. That REALLY helped make all the notes accurate and everythng. I would really reccomend it to anyone wanting to make music levels. I only have the intro made, but all the notes and everything are very accurate. I haven't put in the singing yet, I'll do that soon. All feedback appreciated. Thanks!

If you want to try it out it's called "Music Level - Crazy Train (Intro)", and the PSN (Of course) is Tjb0607. I published it as the intro only and it got 4/5 stars, 7000 plays, and TONS of hearts.

If you're wondering what "Crazy Train" is, it's a popular song by Ozzy Osbourne.

It's the most accurate Crazy Train music level out of all the community levels.

Just played it and was very impressed. Ok, I've never heard the song before - but it sounded right to me
I liked the addition of the "rocker" hands along the bottom and I hope you decide to add in even more decoration (thermo allowing hopefully)

Thanks! I worked very hard making it just right. As of now it is the most accurate Crazy Train music level. Yeah, I'll add more decorations soon.

I actually think this belongs in the level showcase... Even though it's a Work-In-Progress...

Sounds interesting, I've always loved that song. But you don't know the notes on your guitar? SHAME on you! You're getting a walnut for that. I don't care if you're not a newbie or not. xD2009-05-16 18:10:00

Hey, tjb0607,
Just played it and it sounds really good!!

Only one thing I didn't like, the pricebubbles in the beginning....
I hate it when I have to actively avoid taking them.

Atleast it isn't like "300 free prizes and paint gun!!!" levels, with a bunch of sharable community objects they collected... I actually made the prizes...

Thanks for the feedback!!!

Fair enough

Also, the prizes given away at the start are all in other levels. If you want to choose only the ones you want, you can just check out "Free Stickers and Stuff" 1 & 2 and "Dime Explosion Razorback Guitar".

A lot shorter than I expected. It sounded good so far though. I suggest that you set the motor bolts on the wheels to invisible. Invisible pistons, bolts, etc. don't make any noise, so you don't get the constant hum of the wheels while you listen.2009-06-01 03:06:00

That's nice! No hum? I'll change it as soon as I can.

there, invisible motor bolts!
I also made the Free Prizes optional, as there were some complaints about it.

Checked it out the other day and I like it so far. Sounds pretty accurate so far. (I love Ozzy - I've seen him 3 times live!) I'll have to come back and see it when you've got it finished 2009-07-19 01:48:00
