ok - so I'm playing LBP. Not playing with anyone else just me in the pod and I get this "Problem connecting to the Play Station Network" message. Weird thing is it keeps cycling. I hit triangle to close down the dialogue box and it keeps popping up presumably for infinity. The only way to deal with it is to quit LBP and fire it back up. Here's the weird thing. I was downloading from the PS Store when it happened and that wasn't affected. I didn't have to sign back in or anything so I was still connected to the PSN. It's happened a few times to me since the Yarg update and I just figured it was my network but apparently my network connection is fine. The only thing I can think of is that I'm really close to maxed on my profile with the levels on my moon. I'm wondering if the tiny bit of profile I have left could be affecting how the game is running. It does seem to want to do the "pre-loading game resources" thing a lot too. Anyone else having this problem?

I was having connection troubles last night, but this morning all was well. Just got home and haven't fired up the PS3 yet, so I don't know about tonight. Was this an isolated incident or has it recurred? When I had my connectivity issue last night, I too was still connected to the standard PSN... it was just in LBP that I had trouble. I assumed it was a server problem at Mm.

This happens to my friend sometimes. I don't have a solution, but I can tell you that once you start downloading off PSN, the download will continue whether or not you get disconnected...it only breaks if you are no longer connected to the internet at all.

Was this an isolated incident or has it recurred? It's happened three times now. Never twice in the same night but on three separate occasions. Tonight was the only time I was downloading at the same time. Also also seems to happen when I'm playing alone. Haven't seen it in multiplayer games yet. It's happened only once while standing in my pod. The other two were while playing community levels. Happened mid level.

that happens a lot to me though never consecutively, i think its just connection issues how strong is your signal?

96% and I don't have the PC up and running while the PS3 is on. I'll try to see if I can find any other patterns or things I'm doing when it happens but so far what I posted earlier is all the info I'm going on for now.

Perhaps its the disk? When was the last time you cleaned it? Or maybe like you said, it's the space you're using with levels in your moon and all the stuff you got. Try lock-publish some of the levels you work the leas on and delete them from your moon to get some space. Other than that i don't know what else it could be.

IDK but last night i think MM was having problems with their servers- i kept getting errors when i tried to log on to lbp, but i was still connected to PSN.
