psn - mattw87 level - Viva Sack Vegas Okay, hi guys this is my first level despite having the game from day 1. Firstly, I think it's important to mention that I wasn't able to get close to how I wanted this level to turn out due to overheating, I guess that is down to inexperience on my part not making efficient use of the space available, something I hope to improve on my future levels. Anyway, as you may have guessed my level is themed on Las Vegas. I feel that I have made good use of the playstation eye, and it's quite a good showcase of what can be achieved using the PS eye. The level itself is fairly straight forward, generally easy difficulty with a couple of trickier parts but nothing that would cause much concern. Certainly not one of the most complex levels, but I'm sure you guys will appreciate the attention to detail throughout. It will probably be enjoyed more by people who have visited Las Vegas at some point. I have visited Vegas many times, and I really enjoyed this level. It was well done, especialy for a first level. I liked the custom content and stickers. You really got me when I got to knock the boxers head off - classic! Here's some areas I felt could use a bit of improvement: - The background of the level.... personally I would make it black and get rid of the current background. The background being used didn't really fit the Las Vegas theme at all. At least if it were dark it would look more like vegas at night. - Lights with glass columns going up and down - the jumping here was a bit fiddly, especially when exiting to the right I strangely jumped into another plane. It seemed odd. - Part with dolphin was a bit unclear. It was hard to see the gas on top of the water so I didn't know if you touch the water you die. I would make the gas white and use a bit more of it so this is obvious. Nice job! I gave it a heart.

You might want to upload some pics/video of your level, seems more "catchy" that way Also gives the users an idea on what to expect, or to see a why they should play it. I think i'll give it a try since Ccu gave it a good rating tho.

thanks ccubbage, good feedback, I'll look into your suggestions. There are images in the post, I just wrapped them in a spoiler tag but I'll take them out. **EDIT** Ok, I've sorted some of those aforementioned problems, changed the background light to be a bit brighter, changed the water fountain bit so it's a bit easier and added a new section in the middle of the level to break it up a bit and make it a little less horizontal, though this is something that I need to work further on. Still quite a bit more to add yet but I'd be very greatful for any advice from you guys.
