Falout 3 is one of my favourite games at the moment for it's subtle transitions between a long RPG and a Action packed FPS. I find it fun to explore the game and im my exploration i came across a mob i just couldn't handle.. so i ran off. hehe http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s249/wracc2/ScreenShot0.jpg Anyone got any other SS to share?

I've been dying to play it the last while. While I found it kind of annoying at times and pretty difficult, I think I'll try to get back into it during the summer and get as obsessed as I was with Oblivion. Although Infamous will probably prevent that. And I got Oblivion GOTY recently in order to play Shivering Isles so I'll probably get obsessed with that all over again. Anyway honestly I found the game pretty difficult. I was always low on caps, stimpacks and ammo for my favourite weapons... oh the the sniper rifle breaks FAR too easily. Next time I play it I'm gonna try to find schematics for the dart gun, railway rifle and deathclaw gauntlet, hopefully those'll help. Also I should probably stop hoarding big weapons which I'm never going to use and sell them instead. I dunno I've seen people say that it's really easy and that they always have loads of caps, stimpacks and stuff. As I said I tend to hoard stuff so perhaps if I start selling I'll find the game much easier.

Yerh i found it the same + the enemies r hard to kill. I started cheating and dont like it so ill guess ill start again 999weight + 2000000caps + 10000stim is boring

It depends how you play it. On very hard unarmed it is quite difficult, but if you want to make it easy: Small guns + repair + lockpick S-4 P-5 E-8 C-1 I-9 A-8 L-5 Is easy. You can lower intelligence to 3 if you are prepared to grind however. I'd rate the game a solid 9. It's a good game, but I found it a little bit repetitive. I also tend to dislike most open world games. The only open world game I've really liked is FFXII because it slowly opens the world up to you, and side quests FEEL like side quests.

Yeah I think I may have messed up my stats at the start. And then wasted a few perks on upgrading SPECIAL. I might start a new character... hmm...

I'll do my next run as a pyro now that bethesda added some nice flamer additions. Spec-ed in strength, luck and endurance I suppose. Skills explosives, medicine and small weapons. I'll carry around a lead pipe or fireaxe (must me a mod for one if it's not ingame), flamer ofc and replace with the new flamer later on and then my backup will be a sniper rifle (old one, I think there is a hunting rifle mod). I personally love the game despite its flaws and I think that it's a lot more easy to RP than oblivion. In oblivion you get quests and you can do it one way (some you get choice but not as much); the best example in Fallout 3 is a bit where you escort some people and one has to stop for a breath you can: Convince the group to leave him Convince him to let you go ahead Find medicine for him Kill him Abandon the group What did I do? Hehe First character was evil, second good third neutral ffourth med evil fith a cheat char to play broken steel. This time I'm gonna choose a goal and see where it takes me.

I never have a problem w/ caps / stims really. What I do is loot everything I possible can. And when I can't carry something I want to. I drop an item that has the worst weight to money ratio to replace it with a better one. And then I go and sell EVERYTHING I don't need. No point in hoarding. My first guy I beat the game with was energy weapons. And I don't think putting points into special is a waste. Right away you don't have much to choose from anyway.

I seem to fail alot at this game hehe.. I just keep dieing.. i find also that ammo runs out.. way too fast... Anway.. i just got Farcry2 and i have to say .. OMGWTF! GRAPHICZ!!

Best tip ever for F3 (as far as stims/caps goes) Good guy - Steal everything from the baddies you kill in V101. Every security armor suit, every police baton, every 9mm, and sell in megaton. Start cracking on the wasteland survival guide immedietly, and hardcore case up the mega mart (or w/e its called). Bad guy - Steal everything across the board in v101. Accept to blow up megaton, but do the first wasteland survival guild quest so you can get some stims/caps for more stims. Then kill everybody in megaton. Break into every house and steal many many valuables. then go to tennpenny tower and collect your reward. This should get you set up in the right direction.

al i can say is that my character owns all its stats r 100 every special is 10 except charisma And i use liconln repeater.
