LBP on Playstation store

Archive: 17 posts

Having just seen the price is now ?9.99. I think it should be sold on the PSN store. I would fork out a tenner to have it on my playstation and not need to put a disk in, each time I play it.2009-05-12 18:39:00

That would be quite cool, but just imagine the time it would take to download the whole game!:eek:2009-05-12 18:48:00

I like having a hard copy. But, if my disk broke I'd probably be too lazy to buy a new one, so maybe this is a good idea.2009-05-12 20:18:00

lk, Burnout Paradise is available. This is a good idea, it would probably end up with several new players coming to the wonderful world of LBP.2009-05-12 20:25:00

... doesn't LBP take up huge amount of GB on the disc? I'm not too sure if you could download the entire game easily...2009-05-12 20:35:00

LBP is a fullfledged game, the other games in the PSN store aren't there just because they're cheap, they're there because they don't take as much memory as fullfledged games which is another reason they're so cheap, they're made faster and take less memorey.
So i doubt even if they wanted to they won't be able to...

Burnout Paradise is only 2 or 3 GB large though. I guess LBP could be made that small as well, if it isn't already.2009-05-12 22:56:00

Hmm.. a race game or a creating game.
Yes of course! how dumb of me not to realize they use an equal amount of memory and space...

Wow 9.99?

Most well known stores in Canada still sell for well above $50

$70 in BestBuy

The gameplay itself doesn't take that much space, but the videos, tutorials, and Steven Fry's voice-overs take up the rest of the Blu-Ray disc. They could just release the game without Steven Fry, but then what will play when you reach those TV screens in the King's levels?2009-05-13 14:17:00

I'm not sure, I mean, I actually payed ?56 to get it on Ebay. Plus, I bought a Canadian copy so it takes me rather a long time to buy any content.2009-05-13 15:56:00

First of all, It's not true the game is now 10$

It's 10$ on bargain at SOME stores in EUROPE. This doesn't sound general to me.
