For those of you who don't know, Littlebigplanet Central is starting a vodcast. As of now, we are laying the groundwork for the show, and are in pre-production on our first SackCast! This project will take a lot of work to get off the ground, and we need help! Our goal is to produce a 30 minute vodcast from within Littlebigplanet, discussing the game and it's features, spotlighting some of the best levels and hidden gem levels, and discuss the news happening in the LBP universe, as well as right here in our own community, LBP Cental! We are currently "hiring" for the following positions: Sound Technician- You will be responsible for finding/creating sound effects and music to use in our shows. Experience and ownership of music production or effects software is required. Advertiser x2- You will be responsible for promoting the SackCast to the masses in a respectful, non-spammy way. You'l be working with the Director and Producers to come up with advertisements and promotion strategies that will bring in our viewers. We are currently looking for 2 advertisers. Please send me (Harrisment) a pm on the boards or find me on the LBPC irc chat channel with the job you would like to have, and we can then discuss things further. I'm interested in Sackcasting. I'd just hope people could understand my Aussie accent! . In all modesty, I feel I fulfill the criteria. Sure you'll get plenty of people nominating themselves though. It sounds great!

The response so far has been wonderful. We have a few great candidates for all of the positions! Goes to show how talented this community is. Anyway, some positions will be filled sooner than later, so don't be discouraged if you aren't hired right away. We will also need alternates for a few of the positions, in case we run into emergencies, a staff member going MIA, etc. Please keep the "applications" coming. We are still looking for more talented people!

Took out some filled positions, added Researcher to the needed jobs. Thanks to all who applied, and if you weren't picked this time, we will surely need more help in the future! Still looking for an A/V Editor, Sound Technician, SackCaster, and a new position of Researcher.

I'd absolutely love to be the SackCaster, I have a pretty good personality and I'm fairly creative, so I could contribute a lot to creation discussions. Unfortunately, I may not have enough time, now that school's in session. Ah well... Might as well give it a shot!

I'll throw my hat in the ring...SackCaster... I have 17 years of Theatre experience and have done a few PSA's... I have a quick wit...and never back down from a chance to make a fool out of myself... I also have an uncanny ability of applying extremely late to things such as this...

could you tell us what spots are filled just put them in red or something, but anyway, i am assuming that you will need not just 1 person in the game but 4 so if that spot is not filled yet, (i do not strictly qualify to the others), I am 14 going on 15 in December but i believe that i could still help out, as one of the 4 people or as a researcher so just put me down as a maybe for those positions. hmmm, well i could possibly be a researcher. I wont play the game much, except weekends as im in uni. And thats only every other weekend. Until xmas break. So i'll be keeping tightly up to date with everything online to fill my LBP wants. PM me on more specific info if you want and i'll tell you if i'm in or out. btw, if you don't get back to me before about 4pm (GMT 0) on monday i wont be able to reply till thursday sorry. No internet in uni yet. (well, i may pop into Varsity with my laptop now and again for a drink as its free WiFi and i live 50 meters away from it ) EDIT: sorry, just re-read the last part. Removed filled positions, added Advertiser position. For those of you who applied and didn't make it, don't worry, there will be opportunities for more people down the road if we are successful. I tried picking the people I thought were the most qualified and most active forum members. There are some of you that would make great staff members, but there simply isn't enough room right now. Please stay tuned. We have very exciting things planned for the future!

I can has more details? Is this going to be a weekly thing? Monthly thing? How will it work exactly? Will four people be talking via headsets playing the game and someone recording to create the vodcats? kthx
