Now if you've been following the game at all, you should know by now that Bethesda have released 5 HD vids of Fallout 3 to many gaming websites. Gamersyde seems to have the best quality again with 1280x720 vids but their servers leave much to be desired. I use a download accelerator and use all the mirrors they offer. You can download them directly to the PS3 if you wish (my laptop has a little trouble playing such big video files well) and both the wmv and mp4s will work or download to PC and transfer them. EDIT: No sound in wmvs when played on PS3. http://www.gamersyde.com/news_7059_en.html Just yesterday I was still unsure about this game. After seeing these vids I am buying it day one, regardless of the fact that LBP is out 2 days before. It looks absolutely incredible. I was unsure whether or not the game would get old quickly because it isn't as beautiful as Oblivion (which I spent 210 hours on). How wrong I was. Just because it is post apocalyptic doesn't mean it isn't beautiful. The game looks gorgeous. You only get so much from trailers, only so much from short clips. Seeing these 5 gameplay videos has made me as excited for the game as I am for LittleBigPlanet. And that is no mean feat.

Nice! In the second one, the guy with the tophat has the same voice actor as Lucien Lachance from TES: Oblivion.

Nooooo! Why did you have to tell me that.... now all I'm gonna think about is Lucien Lachance when I see that guy . Oh well, no biggie really. Just would have preferred all new voice actors. I didn't notice he had the same voice when I watched so I guess that's a very good thing. Hopefully others that did Oblivion too will be just as immediately unrecognisable (to me anyway).

I played Oblivion so much, I'm not surprised that I noticed it. I was addicted to that game for a good 4 months. Anyway, back on topic: Fallout 3 and Mirror's Edge are my two "must-haves" for me this Holiday. I really hope Fallout 3 is everything it seems to be.

I played Oblivion absolutely loads too! It was my first PS3 game and I played it for ages. Only stopped playing completely in the last month or so. Logged about 210 hours overall. One of my favourite games of all time... and this seems even better . It's pretty gory even without the bloody mess perk. Also the animations looks absolutely top notch. The way the guy with the hat would kind of rub his knee from time to time and his head and eye movements really did a lot to alleviate the stilted animations from Oblivion. The crab men look awesome and it kinda made me smile as I thought back to Oblivion where the comparatively tiny crabs would see you and the epic battle music would start . Thought the guns were all really cool. The nail gun was awesome and the pneumatic boxing glove looked like it'll be very satisfying to use. And the Megaton explosion looked so realistic. Very cool. There were tonnes of little details throughout the vids that I loved and I think that'll help lengthen the life of the game and keep things interesting for longer, since the entire map will be filled with those little details. Perhaps even longer than Oblivion.

can't wait fallout looks awesome i hope for a new elder scrolls and or an elder scrolls MMO. A long time ago like last november Game Informer reported thatBethseda's parent company recieved a lot of money for a cotract on an Elder Scrolls MMO. That would be awesome. did anyone else notice the head though that he shows after shooting it off with the rail gun haha i thought that was a funny little touch

The only thing that's stopping me from making this game a steal, is the real-time combat. I don't know... but it seems like there's something missing... I think the guns don't have that feeling of power over them... Also, I'm not a big RPG fan, so they'd better not force me to use that VATS system thing... >_< I like feeling the satisfaction of knowing that what happened was because of my sheer awesomeness! ^^

Ya Fallout is gonna be sick, maybe Game Of The Year sick. It's either(for me at least) MGS4,Fallout 3, and LBP for GOTY. 2 of which are PS3 exclusive. If Gears wins GOTY i'm gonna be sooo ******. It's a great game but nothing like these 3.

sweet, ive always liked the elder scrolls games so im betting this one will be alot of fun. @ scythe: you dont have to use vats, but i do feel the same about the weapons the dont seem powerful enough.
