They beat Valve too O_o... I guess they've only released L4D recently too, which was kinda overrated but still a class game.
Seems like the source engine will never be replaced...

Loinhead made "The Movies" along with some other successful games I beleive.
18th is high, but I would have rated them higher Maybe 2 or 3

Lionhead made fable most recently. But there main designer, Peter Molyneux has created countless classics. Populous, theme park, dungeon keeper and black and White are just a few.

I'd rate MM third, you can't beat nintendo (no.1) and valve (no.2) for past glories.

Nintendo only 2 Easily the best!
Also, Square-Enix at 44! That's crazy, they make a new brilliant RPG every week!

I was going to say that MM and a few others deserve to be higher, but the way the results were calculated wasn't really based on opinion

still 18 is quite an achievement considering they've only released one game

A bit of irony right there too, the founders of MM were former employees of Lionhead XD

I would not take this too narrow since developers switch companies all the time.2009-05-11 23:11:00

You're right astosimi, they actually knocked a basic design up for LBP whilst at Lionhead, they never went with it though.2009-05-12 11:46:00

Congrats Mm! I would personnally give them about a number 3, 4 or 5 but that's just my opinion, and this chart wasn't really based at all on opinion. Yes and it is quite ironic that Mm are beating Lionhead.2009-05-12 16:06:00

What really depresses the hell out of me: There is only one German developer in there. A good proof that the politicians in this country are effectively killing the topic with their ignorance and misunderstanding.

Second biggest market of the world and then this.

They can't let go of the past. They can't accept what their country did at one time, if you know what I mean

That has absolutely nothing to do with the games industry. I think that it is a terrible mistake to stereo-type anyone from Germany for some old fools. Don't group Germany as one, think about the individuals without any say in such a matter as that.
