k basicly im stuck on chapter 4 the following section. I cant fallow them evan on liquid easy. ok back on track im not looking for tips and walkthroughs because they dont work for me. this might sound cheep or noobish but anybody know where I can get a gamesave that has saves at every magor point in the game so I can skip this part and go on with the game. Im a huge metal gear fan I played them all and I want to finish the story but this is getting in my way. if you can help please reply

If you are a real MGS fan, then you don't use savegames. oh and tips and walktroughs HELP you, they don't do the work for you :kz:

I know you said walkthroughs don't work for you but the best things to do are to keep a lot of distance, look round every corner, don't run in too quick and look for alternative routes where you can see where to follow them. Also, take out any guards ahead before the guy in the suit notices them (I'm not spoiling any of the storyline ) by using CQC or a silenced weapon (make sure to hide the body).

Er... Act 3 or Act 4? Ya don't have to follow anyone in Act 4... And seriously if you're a major fan of the series, no offence but you really shouldn't find any part of the game difficult on liquid easy...

k sorry I ment act 3 and seriosly dont matter what I do i cant fallow the man far enough. also I relly screwed when I get to the river. just because I played and am a big fan of metal gear dosen't mean this should be easy evan on the eaisest setting.

I know they dont do the work for me. it dont matter if its a online or a stagie or evan just a lvl walktrough. the best thing for me is trial and error until I get something that works for me:kz:

This is when you have to follow that guy through the city, right? The best advice i can give you is to go crawling behind him, don't go standing or he/the guards will find you quickly. Also, try to use a silenced gun to take out guards in advance, in other words, get pass the guy and go hunt the guards, then just wait for him in the spot to go to the next area, not too close to it tho, or he might see you. Also, when he has the uniform on, don't follow the ones that leave, stay with the only one that keeps the same rout, and in here you can actually stay behind him crawling since they're walking slowly. That's the only tips i can give you for now, hope they help.

If i was you use octocamo rather than the disguise. also use metal gear MK/2 rather than shooting. I had a lot of problems with act three when playing on the hardest difficulty but if you are careful you will be able to do it. I love the game and am still playing it.

+1 to using octocamo instead of the disguise, that's the first thing I did when the level loaded. If you're really a big fan of metal gear then the last thing you want to do is skip this chapter, it has some MAJOR plot points in it. Absolutely crucial and major, not to mention the second half of the mission is amazingly fun. Just put on the octocamo and never run, the guards are practically blind on liquid easy.

arghhhhhhhhhhh k sorry for posting this thread. I didnt know skipping a part I cant do was a big deal. I know im noob go ahed call me what you whant but I can not beat it. iv been at it for well over a year know and its the one part I can not beat. I got what i wanted after a little reserch. a game save at key points in the game so now Im making up for skipping part of chapter 3 by beating the rest of the game on boss extreme. Now I neglected to leave this out but might as well now. im a harcore fan of alot of games but I just above the casual gamer. I cant play call of duty on hard or vetran I cant play rachet and clank on hard And the highest I can play most other games is casual(ecsept skate 1 and 2 I own in them) my point is I love video games especily when they have good and active storys. If I could beat act 3 on mgs4 I would have done it by know. but I cant and I did what was best for my love of mgs. ps: the save ggame I did get can atually be a good thing its a save at every point so I I want to see the ridan vs vamp sword fight I dont have to playe for 2 houres.

Well, the reason why I was saying you shouldn't skip it is because it has some of the deepest plot and story sequences in the game. Some of the coolest cutscenes in the whole game too. I recommend trying to go through it sometime in the future after you beat the rest and have a better feel for the game, or at least try to find the scenes on the internet if it really comes down to it.

anther thing about this chapter is that if you stamina killed one of the bueties and put on there face camo with the disguise you can walk throgh and rather than being alerted the guards and resistance member just come on to you

Since my ps3 crashed I lost my own savegame where I'd completed the game twice. So I had no probs grabbing my friends savegame who also played through twice. But I'd never download a savegame to get past a point or something. It just completely ruins everything. Bye bye fun.
