AMAZING design. Seriously, this looks beeeautiful. The gameplay's a little bit lacking for my taste, which is a shame because if this had a bit more oomph in that department, it would be up there with very best. As it is, it's a brilliant showcase level that everyone should check out....2009-05-10 15:57:00

You`re not wrong about it. Looks incredible. Don`t know how he`s made half the stuff. Got stuck a couple of times mind you. In one room I only found the secret switch by pure chance and I can`t get out the next one. Well worth playing though just to see it.2009-05-10 16:13:00

Candy shoulda got you to playtest Matt. You never let an un-gassed hole go un-noticed on my levels.2009-05-10 16:20:00

Totally. I actually managed to find my way out the room through a hole on the floor that isn`t meant to be there and into some of his set dressing.

It is amazing though. I'm away to try make my levels look better now!

Played this level, his refinery level, and took a look at his waterfall test. He's definitely got some mad skills when it comes to visuals and the gameplay is solid as well. I highly recommend checking him out.2009-05-10 22:12:00

One of the best looking levels I've been. As said before, gameplay is lacking a bit in my opinion and layer changing at one part in the middle was a bit fiddly. Still definitely worth checking out for the visuals.2009-05-12 11:13:00

Candy's 'Refinery' level is also fantastic. The visual design really is pretty flawless, it all looks so solid, clean and chunky. I love it.2009-05-12 11:38:00

Played this last night. Easily one of the best looking levels I've seen. The detail in this is just incredible! It was one of those levels that made me just stop and stand still for a few minutes looking at the various things around the level.2009-05-12 12:31:00

I played this level last night too. The visuals and atmosphere are very impressive. While I agree that some parts could have been easier to follow, I found it a fun environment to try and figure things out.

I really liked all the colour-coded switches and levers, and all the associated 'bleeps' and sci-fi sound fx were well suited.

Overall, loved it.

Just goes to show that thin-thick material should be available too all without having to trick the code. 2009-05-12 12:54:00

I would recommend this level to anybody. It looks AMAZING and the gameplay doesn't feel forced.

If you like this level you should also try his other level, The Refinery. It looks just as amazing and it was his first level. StarCruiser is just his second level!

Can't wait to see what this guy does next. He said he's doing something completely different for his next project.

Yeah this level is a jaw dropper, in looks/scale/design/layout etc, little mechanics, and overall polish - I don't even mind that it's short and I totally understand why...

I love the way it feels like a point and click adventure... real old school, how you just kind of fumble around the environment wondering wth you're supposed to do and then BAM you see that you were just blind, or didn't try something really obvious.

Refinery's almost as good, and that waterfall is glorious - so therm heavy with the bumpy, gorgeously rounded terrain is probably why he never used it for a full level.

Yup - it's a real gem. Played it through a few times this weekend and just marveled at how precise his design work is and the fantastic mechanics going on. Really light gameplay but when they look that good - works for me!2009-07-13 08:34:00

I think in the last Sack it to Me they mentioned that this level is in the next Mm Picks, A VERY deserving choice.2009-07-13 08:37:00

Still wish we could use the checkpoint-thick layer without having to use glitched materials. 2009-07-13 09:34:00

This was a great level - it looks absoloutely amazing, however the boss at the end (if you can call it a boss) got very tedious very quickly and I was kinda disappointed that it ended there. It did feel a bit short, but watching it again it seems longer.2009-07-13 13:36:00

This level looks absolutely incredible and the amount of detail he has put into this level is just insane! I don't think i've seen anyone using the 7 layers that good, highly recommended!

I lost all will to enter create mode after playing it.
I'll never ever ever ever make something even slightly as good as this ;_;

It's one of those user levels I'd show right away for a new player of LBP when showing off the community.

I played this level a while back, when I was a member of LBW. The visual details were stunning, and the level definitely catered to the explorer in me. It was a bit too short though, but I expect the Thermo was at critical mass. I rated it 5-Stars.

Her Waterfall level is sheer awesomeness as well...again 5-Star material. Check it out if you haven't already.
