Alright, I've finally pulled together and created a device for the LBP community. I've seen lots of jukeboxes in lbp, most of them are kinda bulky and have buttons for just about every song. Mine's different. It's more compact. It's called a Sticker Switch Jukebox. How it works is there are 25 stickers at the beginning of the level (they are all shareable) of the song pictures. You take the sticker(s) you want, go to the radio, attach it to the radio, and the radio will play your song! Here's a picture! http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e288/LordToan/APhoto_6-1.jpg Those switches and radios are all invisible (except the big one of course, which is actually just decoration) so the player only sees a giant radio with one sticker switch icon on it. The user can put as many or as few stickers in their level as they want to give their users limited or unlimited options as far as music goes. I think this is a kind of revolutionary approach to the jukebox concept. I haven't seen any like it yet, and it offers a more compact, selective approach to player selected music in a level. BRILLIANT! except... try making it activated somehow else, cuz people gonna have items collection turned off, plus it turns off the charm on some levels, having to get stickers and play a jukebox etc. i love it and all, just make it activate somehow else and it would be 100% AMAZING

Thats actually a pretty cool idea there But like johnrulz said, thats an awful lot of stickers you'd be giving people.

Well like I said, you don't have to take every sticker. At the beginning of the level there are lock boxes with switches in front of them. You open up the ones for the songs you want, and there you go. ^_^ Everyone has their own select favorite songs. The original idea was to put the sticker on a wall next to the radio, and you could just drag it over from there, but it doesn't work when you do that for some reason, it *has* to come out of your inventory. Which is weird, cause I could have sworn I've done just that before. Take a sticker off a wall and put it on a switch to activate it...

im just saying it ruins the levels mood if the go off course, and get stickers in a box to choose music, it should activate by,,.... get a little bar above it, when a little "point" inside, and you use a 3-way switch to move the point from song to song?

That defeats the whole purpose of my original idea... The whole point of this concept was to be activated by sticker switch. You're basically telling me to re-design the entire jukebox to a concept you just gave me. That wouldnt' be my idea at all. There are already plenty of jukeboxes out there like that, and I think mine's pretty decent.

yea, thats not the idea you were going with. This probably isnt either (lol) but you could also keep the songs visible and larger- and just have sacky sticker the song they want. Arent sticker switches set to activate to anything if you don't put a specific sticker there?

Its a good concept, but its not very friendly to many players that have near-full profiles, keep in mind 25 stickers is a lot profile size-wise. Not bad, tho i think i'll stick with the traditional kind.

Actually, this is very clever! I hadn't ever thought about this, but it's a really simple idea that stops all those annoying button presses

I like the idea, however, you cannot change tracks for if you place over two stickers on the jukebox, just a little thing I found. Great idea, just needs a bit of tweaking, that's all
