After watching this video (see below). It gave me the idea to give the person who is playing the level a bit more control over the sounds that get played. YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. So I came up with the following, its the same basic idea you drive by the 'speakers' and a sounds play. However, the player can move each column up or down to select what sound plays. He then drives through the middle and the sounds are played. http://i33.tinypic.com/11qk2dh.jpg I have no idea whether this will work or not. As it all depends how advance the 'triggers' can get. So when you drive past each column it may just play all the sounds on the column anyway regardless of what position it is in.

I like your idea, it will be fun to play with the music. I have been thinking of how to make some cool music level also becaue it will be fun to mess with. Your idea is for sure a interesting idea.

Someone trying to usurp me, eh? grr Haha, just kidding. I'm sure the levers will be able to move the columns up & down as needed. I can't wait to experiment with music as well, except I will be making Lyrical Levels instead.

We cannot put our own music in the game though, so how will this work? Unless you are just gonna combine the songs in the game itself.

If you watch the video it looks like each 'speaker' is given a sound, and as you drive past it, it triggers it to play. So as he has stacked them all up and used different sounds, it makes that beat. Or at least i think this is how it is done.
