After the problem with LIVE messing up the DLC, and making it completely impossible to play on the PC, Fallout 3: Broken Steel has been released to the Games for Windows LIVE. This DLC looks like the best one so far, with many new weapons, enemies, quests, and new perks! You can now go up to level 30, most levels with new perks to unlock and use! I just downloaded it and am waiting for it to finish, but I haven't actually beaten th game, so I will have to do that first as this is a continuation. Has anyone else gotten this?

You better believe I got it! Havn't played it yet either, but judging by IGNs review "this is the DLC to get", I've got high hopes! I'm gonna be playing within an hour.

I can't even play it!!! I beat the game numerous times after the 'Broken Steel has been activated and your level cap has been raised to 30' thing popped up, and after the end movie it takes me to the credits and then the title screen!!!!!!!! I'm guessing it must have something to do with one of my mods, I'll have to check. Anything I might be doing wrong Shermzor? What exactly happened at the end for you, and what did you do for the last choice in the main game?

I plan to check this out, but I've loaned Fallout 3 to a friend, so I may not see it for a while! Really looking forward to the DLC though and I'm interested to hear what you all think of it.

However I still have a few glitches pop up but I'm PC so I can just TGM / TCL through them.

I think I have a mod that allows me to play after the main questline is over so I will check that. I might film some gameplay!

Finished and thought the ending was a bit meh. I'll have to do a proper character as a rushed through to see what the new stuff was. That airbase was insane, I don't see how you can do it without 80+ stimpacks

I finished it, and am thoroughly dissapointed. They added a grand total of 5 new creatures.. (Albino Radscorp, Enclave hellfire, sigma squad, sigma leader, and the weak SM Overlord). uh.... WTB Uber behemoth? Deathclaw Matron/Patron/queen/king? Baby deathclaws? Pet deathclaw? 2 weapons total? The incinerator (throws balls of fire) tesla cannon (uber overpowered) I was 100/100 big guns so once i got these it was game over... They said they were going to add to capital wasteland, they added 3 sidequests to the purifier, and a few repeatable quests in the citidel? Don't believe the hype, they didnt add anything to the CW. All of the new content/areas are just like OA and Pitt, with little segments added. Im so dissapointed with Bethesdas lack luster DLC for one of my recent favorite games. All in all it was good for one playthrough, and I could see msyelf playing through again, maybe once. I only gained 4 levels (20 - 24) playing the new content. Hard to gain the last 6 when you've done everything already! Edit : I played what I'd consider slow/taking my time. I wrapped up the additional content in about 4 hours. Le sigh.

Theres more than 2 new weapons, theres a laser shotgun, and something else. And I still can't play it, as I deleted the mod that stopped it from working, but now when the game ends, it just crashes. I've not yet seen or touched Fallout 1 2 or 3 so I'm going to wait and at one point buy Fallout 3 and a ton of DLC dirt cheap and play the epicness that it is for hundreds of hours.

I just bought this for PS3, but funny enough, I don't really know when I'm going to play it! I do want to get back into that world, but I know once I start I'll spend forever in there, so I'm kind of putting it off in a weird way. Looking forward to it, but putting it off nonetheless!

you have to get the latest patch at bethesdas website or else if you activate the purifier yourself youll wake up under the bed, and if you let someone else do it, Rothchild wont show up. also MZ is awesome

Just noticed on the description. Apparently, the game unlocks achievements for the PS3. I love copy/paste.
