A simple, yet incredibly useful feature that could easily and should be put into action. Just whip it out, and click point A, and then point B. At this point a guideline would be added with measurements that could be removed with the cursor.2009-05-07 23:36:00

Yeah I guess... but I think the Grid will do for me. You can always build everything to the grid, and then make it bigger/smaller afterwards.

I think maybe more angles in grid mode would be handy for when you're rotating an object... Its only got 90 degree rotation :S

PS... You missed the "S" in Measuring ^^

Seems a little useless in my mind, but maybe someone can find use for an idea like that. The grid is superior in my opinion. You can just use the concept of comparison! 2009-05-08 00:28:00

It would be useful in certain situations, but it's far from a necessity.
In other words, it'd be nice if they added it but it won't hurt anyone too bad if they don't.

Grid is entirely dependent on where your cursor was when you selected the grid.2009-05-08 02:21:00

Grid is entirely dependent on where your cursor was when you selected the grid. huh?

Anything with precision I do with grid. Anything with greater precision I make big, do with the grid and shrink.

Have you ever heard of a program called Inventor? It has the same thing. If it was put in LBP, there would be giant bugs with it (the Inventor software can handle it, though). Not to mention it has a pretty steep learning curve, and would not be good for younger creators.
