Last night was the final episode with the orginal cast. I thought it was very nice and done extremely well, there was loads of fan fare in the episode to remind us of past seasons. The last 10min was great to watch and without giving away to much wrapped up what the future would hold for the characters. Though recently there have been talk of ABC picking scrubs up for another season most of the original cast will be moving on including Zach Braff and the creator Bill Lawrence. The idea would be to continue the story with the new interns and have limited appearances from the past cast. Just found that the final season will be hitting DVD in August check Here for info from amazon who is usually on-top of when things will be released. So I want to know if anyone watched it and what your thoughts are on the series and the final. Update: The show will return for another season. For more info head over Here. I just watched it, they did the ending very well. As for another series of Scrubs, I doubt it could live up to the original.

Yeah I think it would be weird having the old cast come back with guest spots. It would just remind the viewer of the old scrubs and not let the new cast really get a good footing. I guess what they would have to do is a real spin off with a brand new cast, but then that wouldn't really be Sacred Heart Hospital or Scrubs anymore. I would be just fine with it ending, I think it went out well.

I thought it was pretty good, but as far as episodes of scrubs go, you've got TONS of really really good episodes, Like "my lunch" or "my long goodbye" or (cant remember the name of it) the one where Ben dies!? This two part episode couldn't really hold a candle to the masterpieces that preceded it.. Which was kindof a let down, they really should have tried to go out with a bang!

true they have had a tons of just really great episodes that maybe better than this but for me the closer of what may happen with JD and Elliot was what I really wanted. I was a big fan of having them end up together and the short home movie thing at the end was just what I was looking for.

Scrubs was supposed to end last season, but i think because abc (or was it fox... i think it was abc) took them in they got to film another season, i thought that the janitor was a lil mean to lie to him about his name =D

It is ABC and it seems like they might be doing another season now with rumors saying that both Zach Braff(JD) and Sarah Chalke(Elliot) have signed in for 6 episodes and other cast members will sign once they are aware of what their futures are. Being that most of the old cast had shoot new pilots they need to know if they will be picked up before they can commit to another season of scrubs. The idea is the focus of the show will now be the new interns that were introduced in season 8. Ok never mind not rumors anymore its a go!!! While looking for the article saying that it is rumored I found This (http://tv.ign.com/articles/983/983112p1.html) which confirms it. Not sure if I am happy or not, kinda worried that they may be going to far. Hope they don't "jump the shark" with this.

Well, this might, and probably be like many great series or games that are extended too much, (Sonic or The Simpsons) which might completly kill the series...

Yeah I saw the last episode... I didn't realise it was the last episode of the series . Thought the ending was really good. Scrubs will be so weird without Zach Braff though I heard he's coming back for like 6 episodes. Also I think the new surgeon will be the new JD as the episode that introduced him was done in first-person and had his inner monologue. Be interesting to see how long the show lasts without some of the main cast.

It's a comedy about surgeons and doctors doing there internship and their residency in a hospital called Sacred Heart. I can't believe you've never watched it! It's really good, has lots of great characters and it's really really funny. Ya should watch it if ya get a chance though I'm not sure how funny the later series would be if you didn't watch it the whole way through. I'd recommend watching the first season online or perhaps pick it up on DVD.
