Ok, this is my third time posting about this
At least this time I'm putting it in the proper topic!

Alright so I think I can do the recording through skype (I'll check soon).
I wouldn't mind trying to do the editing as well.
I also wouldn't mind making music for it!

So yeah, I can probably do most of that kind of stuff. I'm pretty busy up until mid-june though, so I'll have to see if I can start before then. But mid-june isn't too far away anyways.

I would love participating in the podcast itself as well. I've got a decent mic, and have done a community podcast like this will probably be before, a year and a bit ago.

To add to RockSauron's list, we could also just discuss LBP news in general, as well as maybe have a ramble section.

Name-wise I don't really like Sackcast as it is not very original and also sounds like Sackghast (killzone).

I like SackCast But maybe that's cause I was partly participating way back when we were going to do it first time around. Plus i think 'SackCast' is more of a hint that it's a podcast than 'The Pod'.

Well the easiest way to determine a name would be voting in a poll but I don't want people who aren't part of the podcast to vote.

I think the next move should be getting everyone together and just chatting about how things will work; we're in no rush though so I'm not going to set a date for awhile yet.

I cant do much like talking because i hate my voice and my mic is ubar crap, but maybe i can provide some good glitches which everyone knows, or get people talking about it around the web.

If you have information it'd always be useful to send to the podcast even if it's not a consistent thing every episode.

Another thing I was thinking would be interviews, where some of our most talented members take part as once-off thing. I also think that it should be kept glitch-free as these glitches have received a bad reputation due to them clogging up the "Cool Levels".		2009-05-06 21:00:00

Great; being English I hate to think someone has done something nice without compensation.

I'd still say we're in the clay stage of our podcast, once we have our first talk over skype then we'll start calling things official.

Well you can do your reviews but it's more a sideshow than a group talking.

So every episode our 'rocks' will talk about things and such and then when we call a break we can put on one of our 'muscles' which is someone's thing they've done themselves which can be semi-constant.

So we'll have a certain number of slots open for muscles and we can decide what topics we think our muscles should cover, they go off and do their thing (lots of freedom here) they return we as a group say yay or nay and then the podcast is tidied up.		2009-05-06 21:47:00

Exactly; this is a feature I haven't seen in any other podcast, it's akin to the write in but it is from the same people. Those who listen to 'Wake up to Wogan' () will know about the TOG's and TYG's and this is sort of what I mean.		2009-05-06 21:56:00

Glad to see this is being revived.

I would suggest adding some people as advertisers, not necessarily in a bad way but going onto other forums and telling people about this podcast. A podcast can't work without the most important peice, which is the fans. So yeah, 1 or 2 people who do a lot of internet browsing that can go on other fan sites and tell them about this.

Just a suggestion though, I hope you the best of luck.

Right I'm thinking tomorrow night we'll have a chat, if not all of us just some of us to exchange ideas and get set up for the later chat where we confirm everything.

Sorry to be a pain in the...neck, but I can't do Saturdays unless it's late at night my time (so like 2:00AM GMT).

That would be tips however it may be hard to describe more intricate things on audio so that's where we could put videos on the website (if we get one ).

I've come up with another idea:

People seem to be getting crowns for all sorts of things (I'm not talking about Kitsuine sp? and the sketchbook but things like that 'other podcast&apos.

We could have our own sticker which we can give as an award to people who make really nice levels so that there is something specific for people who are good at making levels only.

Well the vidcast I have seen uses a normal wallpaper size (so just use something like 800 600) at the end of the day it really is dependant on the render size of the videos.2009-05-07 18:33:00

Alright so it turns out I can't record at the same time that I talk, because when I record I can't hear anyone talking, due to the way skype works and stuff.

So if it's OK I'll just talk
But I might still be able to do the editing if whoever does do the recording wants to send me the file.

On Friday I discussed with a few people what I'm going to be talking about on Sunday so some people might not be there (I think it was Highlight notes who might be late), but don't worry they've had a brief. This does not mean that everyone can miss the meeting it just means that you know the gist of what I'll be doing.

Good point! I guess right now what we're looking for are just any insights you might have into the game, such as a cool design you have or an idea, or a neat suggestion you want to share.
At least that's how I see it.

As for what questions it's lbp stuff e.g if you could create a level in any setting what would you make one in?

Rocks have to speak on the ?live? show (The muscles send in clips but the rocks all record together, the chat part of the show). You have to prepare your ?show and tell? invention/level and just talk about it for a min. Also everyone is looking out for our ?Level Highlight?, level of the show? whatever

You personally edit all the clips to get the final thing we publish but Night Angel can edit the raw video footage for muscles and make sure the review lines up with the clips, there?s good music etc. etc.		2009-05-12 07:45:00

Never mind Rock, Dan has sent us the email. The forwarding system hasn't kicked in yet, apparently. We need to wait for Shermzor for confirmation of the first question, but I can answer the others here.

It will include video. Moleynator, as you probably know, is a site filmer, and will record the levels we review so we can show them as we talk.

Anywho, I installed skype, but also forgot I have a PSP 3000, which has Skype built in. As such, I could probably use that if you ever want to... "interview" me... yeah. So I could be upstairs when I'm doing it, um, yeah...

Yeah, it is kinda hard... But i suppose they don't want us to know their planning.

Anyway, you should consider contacting CC again. He last told me that this was a good idea, but there are a lot of good ideas...

But you already bought the site and whatnot. I think you should consider telling him soon, or something. They could front page this thing!
