emitting only one item...?

Archive: 7 posts

so im trying to make an emitter only emit an item once, but i cant! i tried messing with the 'max emitted' button, but the lowest option i can get is 5.

i guess what im asking is, is there anyway to set that option to 1?

thanks

If you use the left analogue, or maybe it's the right, you can go to 4,3,2,1 etc.2009-05-04 22:04:00

If only you could set the Max Emitted at once to more than 99. And for that matter what's the point of having the Max Emitted go up into the 100k's. It's like "hmm... I could make it infinite... nah I think 433,618 is perfect..."2009-05-07 05:13:00

For one, it saver termomether space, and secondly, this would be for really fast emmiting object (bullets and such) that the creator doesn't want to it to have an infinite amount of whatever its emmiting, but since its emmiting so fast it can last longer, yet its not infinite.
