Need help with my machine
Archive: 8 posts
Ok, so in my new level / minigame, the concept is for the player to follow a code, kind of like simon says. The level is completed, and everything works perfect. Two key machines run this level. 1 machine reads the sequence, and sends it to the 2nd machine (using emitters). The 2nd machine then uses that, and presents the player with the code. The first machine has one, actually HUGE flaw. Because I want the player to have to restart if they die, this means the whole mini-game would have to start over. The mini-game it's self is 3min and 30sec. So when you die, you spawn in a "waiting room", where you are held untill the minigame resets. But how long you have to wait is often annoying. The machine is basically an elevator. When you enter the minigame, the elevator goes down, reading off sensors, sending data to the 2nd machine. When you die, and spawn in the waiting room, the elevator goes back up / resets it's self. I was wondering how I could fix this. I tried to use the flip option, so that it would go down slow, but jump right back up, but that didn't work. So yea... Uber simple terms - How can I make a elevator that goes slow downwards, but quick upwards. Or any other type of machine that can read switches, and spawn cubes. Maybe I should just re-make the whole machine... | 2009-05-04 00:42:00 Author: stevoabc123 Posts: 4 |

I don't know what sort of setup you having going there, but if possible, you could try and 'emit' the lift, so when the player dies, the emitter activates, making the lift spawn back at the top again. | 2009-05-04 01:40:00 Author: DanC Posts: 433 |
Is there a way to put pic's up using the PS3 only? / it's web browser? | 2009-05-04 01:52:00 Author: stevoabc123 Posts: 4 |
Is there a way to put pic's up using the PS3 only? / it's web browser? what I do is export them to the Ps3- you know how to do such, right? I'll assume so. anywho, go to your profile, and your album (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/album.php) while on the ps3 browser. Select upload pictures, and it will go to your images on your PS3. choose the images from there, and you'll upload whatever image you want from the ps3 to the LBPC server. then go to your computer, and the pictures will be in your album. ... that is what you wanted, right? | 2009-05-04 02:01:00 Author: RockSauron Posts: 10882 |
