LoZ: Link to the Past

Archive: 15 posts

Anyone else love this game? I just got this game on my Wii (had some extra money from buying Pokemon Snap) and it's really incredible. And now that I've played it I miss the charm of old school top down games. It really is fun. Anyone who hasn't played it, your life will be empty unless you do. Oh and this post is the longest shortest post I ever wrote. I'm mining in Runescape as I talk. Lawl.2009-05-04 00:33:00

Its pretty fun. I never beat it, though. Got maybe 75% of the way through and got stuck, too lazy to look up guides or anything.

Great music in it, and I love the storyline. Old of course. Still awesome.

I might have to pick this up on the VC. I never did own the original though I've played my friends' copies.2009-05-04 05:30:00

Easily my favorite Zelda game of all time.

And it still holds up really well. Talk about a game that is aging nicely!

Definetely is interesting. My wife is playing it lately and since I had to unblock her a couple of times, i've seen some little parts of the game. I'm not convinced on the stylus control though. It's easier to get hit by ennemis and the roll when you don't wanna.

I'm actually having problems rolling. I think the controls work very well. It's not perfect but I think it works very well. I'm halfway through now.2009-05-06 23:48:00

It was a great game, but I could never finish it...

I left it for about 3 years but came back to it and really tried to beat it. I still cant -_-. Mostly because i'm lazy.

Link to the Past is probably my favorite zelda game; have it for my SNES and gameboy advanced. The story was brilliant, with only a few lines and the music was fantastic. I remember playing it when I was really young and freaking out when I couldn't pass the 1st dungeon.2009-05-07 18:27:00

I got stuck probably 2-3 dungeons before the end, and never had the motivation to go back through the game...explore the entire game world or look up a guide to beat it.

I already got the gameplay out of it that I wanted. The music was fantastic, not as good as Ocarina of Time though, imo. Which is to be expected, its an older game.

If only twilight princess music had been done instrumentally...it could have been amazing.

This is one of my all time favourite games. I have it for the GBA and wow, it still looks awesome to this day. I remember getting seriously stuck in the later dungeons and i regret to say that i had to look up a guide :O However i did beat the game in the end which was awesome Definately fun and a definate must play for any action RPG fan.

I still have the cartirige for this bad boy, as well as the GBA port.

TBH, and im not kidding this is a story of success for any kid struggling to read. I didn't wanna learn to read back in the day until I played this game and my mom and her friend told me "it would be alot better, and you'd do better if you could read." I was told the same line for FF3.

Inspired me to read, Link to the past and ff3. Video games be praised.
