how to embed pics in our threads here???

| Hey all. I need some help. I have a new level ready to showcase here at LBPC and I need to get the pictures of the level into the thread. I'm not that computer literate and when I go to "insert image", I am asked to enter a URL?? But won't that just create a link to my pics? I want them to actually show up in the thread. | you press the picture button? The one with the mountain on it, right? By pressing that and placing the URL in there, it automatically checks to see the URL of the picture. See, each picture has it's own URL. http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/member.php?u=3652 is the URL your sig goes to, http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/image.php?u=3652&dateline=1236702510 is your avatars location. ... Well, anyway... Make sure there is nothing on the page but your picture. to be sure, right click on your picture, and select "copy image location" if you're using Firefox- for Internet Explorer it will be under properties, not sure about other things. If you use the image Location, that is the URL your picture is at. so, basically, if you have a URL for your thing, http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/image.php?u=3652&dateline=1236702510 is the same as http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/image.php?u=3652&dateline=1236702510 ... did I help or make it more confusing? | 2009-05-02 18:06:00 Author: RockSauron  Posts: 10882 |
Or you can do it from your PS3 browser by taking the pic ---> Uploading it to HDD ---> Uploading it to an album here in LBPC (If you don't have onr make one) ----> copy the 2dn link below the picture ----> Paste the code in your post And there you go! a picture in your post | 2009-05-02 18:10:00 Author: Silverleon  Posts: 6707 |
