Jungle Fun - Bindibaji/Bindibaji - Thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=10579)
Description:
Heres my new level, I've spent an unhealthy amount of time on this as I've Sprained my ankle. So can't get out much.

You start waking up in your village, wanting some bread only to find the bridge to the shops is down. This is how your quest starts.

A brief summary of the level:
* Use a see-saw to catapult yourself out of the village
* You have to swim (run) up an underground river
* Solve a puzzle
* A mine cart ride with the track that collapes
* Find your way into Pete's palace make a life or death decision.
* Escape from rolling fire rocks.
* Defeat Pete in a final show down.
- BindibajiOur Thoughts:
Bindibaji has created some great original characters that add to a fantasic storyline, I guarentee that it will delight, please and satisfy in equal measures. A very well designed and crafted level that will make you very aware that people still come up with things as fresh and as good as what MM did all them months ago. This level simply oozes charm and excellence. - GrantosUK
A quick errand turns into a jungle and subterranean adventure in this level by Bindibaji. There are some really nice platforming elements combined with great creature design and beautiful landscapes. Before you descend be sure to take out some parrots for points. If you survive your journey to Pete's lair you're in for a fun boss battle. A fun level to journey through and play. - Morgana 25
This level has a really fun and carefree style. The characters are wacky and humorous, and it contains one of the best parrot shooting galleries I have ever experienced. On top of that, you get to shoot a snake to bounce yourself up in the air (which makes PERFECT sense to me). This level is great fun! - CCubbage
Snakes, parrots and stag beetles. You can tell this level is going to be a real laugh, but it also has some brilliant gameplay and stunning visuals. Excellent use of the paintinator and lots of hidden areas add to the experience created by Bindibaji. Top it all off with a great boss battle and you have a quirky and fun level! - Coxy224Media (if available):A house in the tree village you start in, you may get some helpful advice from the owner

Description:
Hi y'all. My first created level, Gothic Reverie, is now published if anyone cares to take this baby for a spin. Basically, the player gets to explore the dark and surreal dreamscape inside the mind of Robert Smith (singer/songwriter with 80's goth band The Cure). Whether you like The Cure or have never even heard of the band makes little difference though, as there's plenty of cool features here for everyone to enjoy. The level focuses on puzzle and exploration based gameplay within a range of diverse environments, and was created with 100% original craftsmanship (no MM pre-made or community items rehashed). A full month in the making, blood, sweat and tears are the raw materials from which Gothic Reverie was forged, so don't expect just another H4H spamfest that was made in 5 minutes while the kettle boiled. So far, the level has had 24 plays with 5 hearts, and is described as beautiful, artistic and tricky.

Features include -
* Escape from the fire in Cairo
* Search for the cat in an icy, moonlit forest
* Save the drowning man from the jaws of a giant clam
* Navigate giant puzzle wheels in The Hanging Garden
* Explore a spooky mansion to find "The Upstairs Room"
* Take a trip to the circus and bomb the freakshow
* Battle the guardian of an ancient temple and uncover a hidden treasureYour prize for completion will be a lovingly crafted and intricately detailed steam train, modelled in the Great Western Railway style. For acing the level, you'll win a fully functional prize grabber (the sort you could find at most fairgrounds and arcades). - UngrethOur Thoughts:
Taking a step into Robert Smith's mind is not an easy task, but this level will give you a good idea on the inner-workings of a fantastic song-writer. Its a very well designed level with puzzles and gameplay s a plenty that will both challenge and perplexe you in equal quantitys. Great band, great level, even better creator. - GrantosUK
You find yourself in a surreal dreamscape populated by strange and wonderful creatures and landscapes... must be Robert Smith is napping again. A thoroughly unique and wonderfully strange level that has some great details and fun platforming. There are so many different areas with subtle details, all in slightly different styles but they all seem to blend together somehow. Be sure to check out the detailed train, the eerie twins, the beautifully built freakshow and the guardian of the ancient temple. You don't need to love The Cure to love this level but you'll love it even more if you do. - Morgana25
I've always wondered what was going on in Robert Smith's dreams..... I'm sure everyone who has ever listened to music from 'The Cure' has wondered. Well - now you have the chance to find out! And from playing this level, I'm confident Ungreth is pretty accurate. This level proves that there's no limit to LittleBigPlanet creativity. The content alone would make this level worth playing, but it also contains great gameplay and some goosebump-inducing moments. I would love to see Ungreth give us insight into the minds of some other bands.... Culture Club anyone? (blech.... never mind) - CCubbage
A lot of time has clearly gone into this level. Everything is polished to perfection and each challenge is cleverly thought through. This quirky-style level is a reminder that LittleBigPlanet can be both weird and wonderful, whilst leaving nothing to your imagination. The visuals are stunning and the prizes are worth playing the level for. - Coxy224Relevant Evil - Crow/Crow- - Thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=10610)
Description:
Its based on resident evil 1 but my own version. the start is slow but worth the play. 2 boss fights, the second boss has 200 PP. - CrowOur Thoughts:
What starts with fantastic custom music from the Jollyrajah soon turns into a fight for life. You all should comb the mansion and find what delights lay awaiting for you. Incredible visuals and some boss fights you will not forget make this level un-missable. - GrantosUK
The master of horror levels is back with another fiendish level. Not quite as scary as his previous levels but just as awesome to play. Fans of Resident Evil should feel right at home in the dark, dangerous and atmospheric feeling corridors of the subterranean research facility. Some great bosses and and custom music from jollyrajah at the beginning of the level make this a memorable level to play. - Morgana25Media (if available):http://i40.tinypic.com/2cqf7zo.jpg

http://i44.tinypic.com/ridh78.jpgSupercharged Red - Asbestos101/Asbestos101 - Thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=10684)
Description:
Back in action after a 2 month break (forced due to my save data corrupting for the 2nd time) here is my newest level. So give me a pity play

Moe the Mechanic has fixed your car up and now it's time to race out of town and escape the cops!

It's not a long one, so please do give it a try when your next on.

Also 11 optional hidden collectables - Asbestos101Our Thoughts:
One mention of race levels no doubt sends a shiver down the spine of every LBP creator and player. What if I said it was it was very well designed, looked great and demanded more than holding down R1 for the duration of the level? Interested now? You should be, because this little gem shows what vehicle levels can be satisfying, beautiful and more so playable. - GrantosUK
Feeling the need for speed and sick of being flung uncontrollably to the edge of a level? Check out Supercharged Red for a wonderful racing experience. It's not only full of high speed cars to race against and police cars trying to keep the road safe, its got great visual effects and even some strategy required to complete it. It's many miles/kilometers per hour above your average racing level. Ready.... Set.... Go play it! - Morgana25
Beyond the world of rocket cheetahs and roller coasters lies 'Supercharged Red'. This level shows that there's still room for a high-quality race experience. Race down the road next to computer-controlled cars, past a police blockade, carefully park your car to ride a steel girder, and leap out of the front of a truck with lightening fast reflexes to sprint to the finish line! Plenty of great ideas make this race worth running. - CCubbageMedia (if available):Supercharged Red

Description:
The Hogfather wants his money back and isn't messing around. Evade the Hogfathers gun toting henchmen through New York's streets and towering skyscrapers.

It's a pretty straight forward action/platforming level with some collectible objects hidden around the place for use in your own levels, a boss battle at the end and lots of underpants. - SosakuOur Thoughts:
An excellent journey to repay your debt to the main protaginists, the pigs. Filled with excellent custom created characters, and some oustanding set pieces and visuals Sosaku has created a fine a little level to get lost in. Add in the boss, and swinging on underpants and you have nothing but win! - GrantosUK
Evading gun carrying hog henchmen is even more fun than it sounds in this unique level from Sosaku. Make your way across the rooftops of a stylized New York jumping across alleys, running across billboards, scaling clotheslines and even breaking a window or two if needed. The scale of the buildings and decorations is sack boy sized and it has a uniquely cozy feeling when played. The level is light, airy and positively glowing with daylight warmth. Take on a pretty awesome boss and make your escape. A level with a quirky sense of humor and a real treat to play. - Morgana25
The city displayed in this level is just the perfect backdrop for Sosuku's quirky level. When the Hogfather wants his money back he'll stop at nothing - even chasing you across rooftops and washing lines. A great ending with a robo-pig boss battle is the perfect climax to a truely funny level. With lots of detail and some of the weirdest enemies you will ever meet this is a level that is both fun and beautiful. - Coxy224Media (if available):http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/7739/aphoto33.jpg

Description:
Please check out my level Jack Skellington Costume and leave a comment, it's not your typical stickers on the wall costume level, it is a detailed walkthrough of Halloweentown and other locations from Nightmare Before Christmas. I spent a lot of time getting the look and atmosphere right. It is getting great comments so far. You also get my Jack costume as a prize for completing the level. - RE_PulseOur Thoughts:
Tim Burton certainly has a style of directing and visual flair, and this level that comes as close as you can to his greatest. Although theres nothing in the way or hazards, this level will give your eyes a treat and remind you that even costume levels can still hit high standards of LBP. Even if you don't use the costume, give your eyes a treat - GrantosUK
RE_pulse has elevated the common costume level to it's highest expression in his Jack Skellington Costume level. Not only has he made a detailed and accurate set of stickers along with very easy to follow instructions to make your very own Jack Skellington, he's recreated numerous denizens of Halloween town and the spooky landscape they "live" in. You don't need to be a fan of the film to see how utterly amazing the landscape and characters are rendered here but if you've seen the film or are a fan - prepare to be absolutely blown away! - Morgana 25
Woah! This level is a feast for your eyes and will constantly have you saying just that. An accurate recreation of Halloween Town added to a brilliant costume design creates something similar to this. And it is both fun and amazing at the same time. A simple story and a few minor puzzles are thrown in for good measure aswell. This is not just your average sticker costume level - this is a new generation of costume levels. Other creators take note, this is how they should be done! - Coxy224Media (if available):http://i455.photobucket.com/albums/qq273/yensid71/1Jacklevel2.jpg

Description:
- trying to push the style of my level more with this
- Black & White look
- and some good old Platforming - jump_buttonOur Thoughts:
A beautifully crafted level with such a stunning visual style you'll barely notice anything wrong. Some fun and challenging platforming just adds to the experience. It's short, but leaves a taste in your mouth that you won't want to forget. - Coxy224
This level is a stunning work of art. I was struck by the visual design - as you walk through this level, the black and white shapes within the separate layers form a 3D stylistic painting which is striking to watch. Short but sweet - a great LittleBig experience... check it out! - CCubbage
A visual masterpiece from jump_button! The look is unique in LBP and has moments that reminded me of Frank Miller's visual style from Sin City. In addition to the fantastic view, there are a few challenging areas of platforming to play through. So who needs color when everything looks so great in black & white. Enjoy it while you can - it's a "quick to play" but "hard to forget" level you shouldn't miss. - Morgana25

Without a doubt in my mind this level will wow even those with the harshest visual standards. Beautiful to look at and play, jump_buttons level will definetly impress with its very appealing two tone colouring and fantastic art design. Levels dont come much better looking to the eye than this one, and thats a fact you should all see for yourselves, and undoubtably agree with. - GrantosUKMedia (if available): http://i44.tinypic.com/35085yt.jpg

http://i42.tinypic.com/mal2cj.jpg Stakker Westworld 2 - Mother-Misty/Mother-Misty - Thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=10936)
Description:
Hi all,

my new level is up and i'm really curious to hear what you guys think of it
Name: Stakker Westworld 2
PSN: Mother-Misty.

some info:
This level is for fans of old-skool platform fun, i've tried to give it his own unique look and concentrated mainly on game play and fun, fun and fun!
(ohh... and lightning effects :-))

Because some pics say more then 1000 words and i'm pretty bad at selling my own stuff here are some pictures

If you have some time, give it a spin, would love to hear some feedback

cheers,
misty. - Mother-MistyOur Thoughts:
Mother-Misty has caught the flavour of retro platformers and then added a LBP twist into the mix to creat this fantastic level. Everything about the level radiates colour and a lovely colour scheme is assumed. But don't be fooled, this level is not just for the older gamers - even the younger LBP players will enjoy this. This level has solid, quality platforming that will leave you very nostalgic - Coxy224
If you like abstract art I think you'll enjoy this extensive and semi-free form level from mother-misty. Gentle swaying wave patters and gently spinning shapes in every color of the rainbow give the impression that a box of crayons has exploded and players get to walk, swing and jump their way through the colorful debris. Bubbles abound and while most of the level is straightforward enough for most players to finish there are some areas that will push your platforming skills to the edge. Try not to be distracted by the pretty lights when you make your way through this beautiful level. - Morgana25Media (if available): http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=451&d=1240848709http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=452&d=1240848717http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=453&d=1240848722 Zephyr Valley - mrsupercomputer/mrsupercomputer - Thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=10912&highlight=Zephyr)
Description:
I've just published my third level entitled Zephyr Valley. Inspired by the recent Prince of Persia, I decided to make a level with platforms suspended in the air by giant balloons where the player must navigate from one to the other. I feel that this level is more difficult than my other levels, but nothing too frustrating... I hope. - mrsupercomputerOur Thoughts:
Another amazing and fun level from mrsupercomputer! Masterful character and set design combined with fun and challenging platforming make this level an absolute dream to play. Exquisitely detailed with a vintage styled art direction, it plays and looks like a game released on it's own and not just a level for LBP. A must play for fans of the absolute best levels LBP has to offer. - Morgana25
The third level offering from Mrsupercomputer, and a third outstanding level. Wow, what a talent. Throughout this level there are material and object combinations that make you think "I wish I had thought of that!".... but beyond looks, the gameplay here is fantastic. The entire level takes place above the clouds, and combines great platforming, balancing, racing, and well-designed paintinator action. - CCubbage
Sky pirates, huge windmills, solid platforming and excellent detail - it could only be another level by Mrsupercomputer! Some beautiful art direction and a crazy story line start the level, and if you decide to play this you'll never look back. Along with one of the best boss battles in a long time and some more funny characters this level could only ever be one thing - amazing! - Coxy224Media (if available):http://www.brentsimmons.com/lbp/sv1.JPG

Flaming Timberland 2 - jackofcourse/jackofcourse - Thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=10961&highlight=flaming+timberland)
Description:
I've was sent here from a member of the workshop forum as they believed it would help get my level out there a bit more.

Upto now the feedback has been awesome and it's play to hearts ratio is around 1:2.5. It's called 'Flaming Timberland 2' (Second in the series funnily enough ) My PSN is jackofcourse

There's some pictures below and I'll post the video link as soon as youtube sorts itself out

Hope you enjoy - jackofcourseOur Thoughts:
This series of levels absolutely has that MM feel and players who loved the story levels will feel right at home. On top of the quirky hand made landscapes there are wonderfully fun platforming challenges that are as innovative as they are fun to play. Classic platforming elements have been jazzed up or completely turned on their head so don't assume because it looks familiar it's the same old thing - you'll be thinking to yourself, "why didn't I think of that?" So check it out but pay attention - asbestos suit not provided. - Morgana25
Travel your way through the burning timberland created by Jackofcourse and you will constantly be remembering what it was like when you were first playing LBP in story mode, only this time maybe just a bit better! WovenEye: Cutting The Cloth - GrantosUK/GrantosUK - Thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=10986)
Description:
The final part in the 0013 series is finally finished. Moving from Siberia to Mexico you finally get your showdown with Dr. Cloth, and your revenge. Heres the level description:
After the tragic events of Siberia, 0013 heads to Mexico to stop Dr. Cloths plans for his satellite laser weapon WovenEye. But Dr. Cloth is expecting him for a final showdown, can 0013 but a blob of paint right between Cloths eyes and get his revenge? The level has taken me exactly one week, and contains all the usual, puzzles and platforming, there are only two uses for the paintinator in the level this time, I was getting a bit tired and out of ideas for its use. There are also 12 secrets to find in the level.

Once you have completed the level, collect the sticker at the end and use it when you next playthrough to remove all magic mouths, and add in race gates for a better score. This took quite a bit of time because the level goes to night, and I basically had to re-light the entire level all over again to make sure it played well in both times of day - GrantosUKOur Thoughts:
An old Klingon proverb states, "Revenge is a dish that is best served cold" but even in a warmer climate than Siberia, payback is pretty satisfying. After the fantastic From Siberia With Love series, GrantosUK is back with the climax to the saga of 0013 versus Dr. Cloth. Fans of the earlier series will feel a familiarity in the winding, backtracking labyrinth that GrantosUK has created but you'll find all new puzzles, dangers and secrets to hunt for in a much warmer feeling landscape. The boss battle is great fun and if you survive it once - check out the level again in hard core mode for some extra pressure. A complex and entertaining level from the master of LBP series creation! - Morgana25
GrantosUK is back with another wonderful level featuring 0013, and this time you'll be fighting Dr. Cloth in a completely different environment - but it looks and feels both familiar and amazingly fun! With an option to complete the level again as a race, brilliant platforming and puzzles, Grantos has once again captured the hearts (a lot of them too!) of the LBP community. - Coxy224Media (if available):http://i492.photobucket.com/albums/rr285/grantosuk/APhoto_3-3.jpg

Tye Dye! - Jaeyden/Jaeyden - Thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=10795)
Description:
Hello everyone! I'd like to tell you all about my 12th level Tye Dye! It's a simple story all about color. I feel like I've created a level that appeals to the broad audience. I've taken a lot of influence from my Starstruck series and made a fun, addictive high score challenge that rewards exploration and quick fingers. The level is a bubble burner with a focus on creating combos and freestyle platforming. Check out the contest here - it starts tonight and may have even more XP added by the finish - JaeydenOur Thoughts:
This is as close to a perfectly designed level as I've seen - kids will love exploring this colorful and amazing world, general players will find it challenging and satisfying, and hardcore gamers will spend hours perfecting their combo-tying skills and grabbing every last point bubble. This level is a masterpiece, and every single section is well-thought-out and balanced for fun! But beware - this is also one of the most addictive levels you've ever played, and you may not want to exit Jaeyden's beautiful world. Another fantastic job from one of LittleBigPlanets best creators! - Ccubbage
Amazing! Challenging! Beautiful! Addictive! Tye dye is, I think, exactly why MM created a game like LittleBigPlanet. The creativity is gushing from this dazzling abstract landscape filled with vibrant colors and shapes that are a visual level lovers dream. Platforming fans will revel in the free form design that tests your skills and strategy to get bigger and bigger combos. It's the most broadly appealing level I've yet seen in LBP having been designed to work from a beginners basic walkthrough all the way up to hard core gamers stringing mind boggling bubble combos together. The icing on this psychedelic cake are the sticker prizes - really beautiful and practical gifts from Jaeyden. This level really does it all and will have you playing it again and again. - Morgana25
This colourful, challenging, fun level by Jaeyden is an absolute masterpeice. From the moment you enter the level to your biggest combo and then to the scoreboard he has your attention with fantastic effects and graphics. With the background colours changing all the time, you can visit one area at least five times and find something you didn't notice before. Throw on top of that some original and fun platforming and you have got an amazing level. With lots of replayability due to some brilliant prizes and his ongoing contest, Jaeyden really has created one of the most addictive, beautiful levels I have ever played. - Coxy224

Well theres nothing more I can add to what Coxy, Cubbage and Morgana have already said before me! Visually stunning, massively replayable, awesomely designed, fantastically created, outstanding scoring system and a wonderful, delightful play. I've ran out of words to describe Jaeydens latest achievement other than PLAY IT PLAY IT PLAY IT!!!!! - GrantosUKMedia (if available):http://www.epicureme.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/.pond/DSC01566.JPG.w300h225.jpg

Description:
"Kikaiwa: The Cluster" is basically a collection of four bosses. But not the normal "jump-over-some-plattforms-to-reach-a-brain-bosses". Every boss has a special concept making it very unique and you can choose the order in which you take them down. - VanemieraOur Thoughts:
Vanemiera has consistently amazed me with this series - and this level is no different. Four outstanding and beautiful bosses which will test your dexterity to the limit. In entering each section, you must carefully study your foe to determine it's week points. The thing I was most impressed with here is Vanemiera's incredible skill at building switch mechanics - these bosses are incredible, and worthy adversaries. Check this one out - upon completing all 4 challenges you will truly feel like a champion! - CCubbage

Ever been bored by a terrible boss, or had trouble creating both an innovative and enjoyable one? Then look no further than the fantastic collection of bosses found in Vanemiera's Kikaiwa: The Cluster. This level has some of the funnest bosses available and with both a good design and a special concept for each of them this is a must-play level. Both creators and players will enjoy the challenge posed by this fantastic level. - Coxy224
If ever there were a hardcore gamer level - it's this one. Four very different, very unique, and very challenging boss battles that will have even the pros scratching their heads for a few seconds analyzing the bosses they are about to face. The amazing technical skills showcased in this level are presented with equally amazing visuals. Don't look around for too long though, you'll need to be firing on all cylinders to make it through The Cluster! - Morgana25Media (if available):http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/littlebiggallery/images/3685/medium/1_Quake.jpg

I hope you'll consider giving it a go, and please don't hesitate to comment. More importantly, I hope you have fun. - MrsSpookyBuzOur Thoughts:
I honestly had never heard of this creator, and walked into this level with very few expectations. Wow - the creativity shown in this level blew me away. The concept here is something I hadn't experienced before... throw the player in a race against time, solving simple but brilliant puzzles as fast as you can in order to tumble to the next section. The gameplay is fast and furious, but never frustrating. MrsSpookyBuz - I am absolutely impressed. You've created something very special and I was not surprised to see it rise to the top. Great job! - Ccubbage
"Hyper cube is online". These words will stick in your mind until you have successfully shut down the Hyper Cube. To do so, you must complete some of the finest puzzles and platforming before speeding out of the 'Cube. Some great visuals and lots of hidden score bubbles to collect adds to the rest of the perfect gameplay leaving a brilliant, fun level to play through. - Coxy224
A puzzle and platformer players dream. This series' levels provide consistent design, challenge and fun! One of the best level designs I've played for keeping a fast and engaging pace with the player. Clever puzzles that will keep your mind as busy as your jumping button all in a cleanly designed and techno styled environment. For a real laugh play with a friend and see who can finish first! - Morgana25

I always post my levels at the wrong time, so they are never really noticed.

Note: There were some issues on a few levels in which they were missing images/video - if there were images or video available, it has been added. Sorry for the hiccup! 2009-05-02 07:33:00

Some of these sound really cool!

Is it me or are the spotlights being produced more often? Keep up the good work everyone!

Congrats everyone on 16 more Awesome levels! And thank you review team, you guys ROCK.

My latest level is being published as soon as I type the thread for it. I had a 9-day stretch since the last spotlight list where I couldn't get to play the PS3

If I could have worked on this level for just 1 of those days, then this spotlight list would have 17 entries instead

I love this site!

So many great levels...so little time. I've got my work cut out for me just to catch up with all those levels that I have noted that need playing. I'll provide feedback as I play through these.

Thanks LBP Central for spotlighting great levels!
