I can Record your levels! In HD!

I have recently gotten an HD recorder, and Sony Vegas Pro, so I can record LBP! I'm going to record my levels for a while, but after that I will be able to record yours, in a very nice HD quality!

Nice of you to offer your service. We have quite to few filmers at this forum. Actually CC wanted to reform the Site Filmer crew but there was not enough interest from the people who actually can film levels(oO hopefully he doesn't kill me for giving away such informations).

However you should right from the start edit your videos to make them something like a trailer. It is a bit more work then just jumping through the level and then pressing the upload button at Youtube but helps the creators much more. E.g. i did watch your video but after seeing it i honestly felt like:" Oh wow. Cool level. ... Hm i already know the ending and watched the whole level in a resolution i haven't even on my own TV so why should i play the level now?"

So it's not that usefull for the creators. Just an advice for you. Nothing more. 		2009-04-28 20:44:00

Hehe, everyone is going for the PVR. I guess the Intensity Pro is a little to expensive. I do prefer the intensity over the PVR though, it is MUCH sharper and generally looks more HD. So I use the PVR to record TV & Intensity to record the PS3. Both are awesome capturing devices though. =)2009-04-28 21:09:00

Awesome camera, brilliantly shot! I wouldn't mind putting a request in for my levels if that is okay, there is no rush but if you could, I'd really appreciate it. I would love for you to film my Devil May Cry levels, and even though I have tried to do so with my phone, the quality is nowhere near as good as compared to yours. Yes, but most of the time I ask the creators if they want full playthrough or trailer like.

Ok, I finished the most annoying to edit first, which is 00Sack, took me so long because Vegas kept crashing! RAGE! But I finished it, the ending wasn't supposed to be all sped up, but it is. Also, as I have already stated, it is sped up in numerous parts, but after watching it it doesn't look like it ruins anything. Hi Cog, I'm making a level for the Youtube contest and wondered if you could video it and upload it when it's finished ( about 75% done so should be finished by the weekend hopefully ).

I've just registered on Youtube but never uploaded video at all before and don't have a dedicated video camera.

Ok, by host I mean put it on my file, but I will do that.

Also, I just got Fraps, so now I can lag my games and film it!
It sometimes makes my games REALLY laggy and sometimes even crashes them, but it worked well on Left4Dead. Heres a little test of the quality;

Sorry everyone but I couldn't do any films today, but I will definitely do some tomorrow. I was a bit busy with other things, I wanted to test out Fraps in Bioshock, which that video should be up soon.

Ah, don't worry, I will do everyones. No one will be left out. But you were the last one to ask for the video, and so you will be the last to reciece yours. But it is fair, as first come first serve.

Also today I will record every level I have to record, then I will edit some of the others that I recorded, and post those.

Only 1 problem, I need to move it to the contest section but can't find a way to do that. I think I need to upload it myself and wondered if you could send it me whereby I can easily upload it to the relevant section without having to do anything technical myself.

I tried looking for contact info on youtube but there is nothing ( not even an email address !! ) except a phone number which I've tried but that gets answered as google and they just say we can't help anyway and try looking on the website. A great lot of help that is.

If you know an easy way to move it that would be even better.

Exactly, e won't be taking new requests (from people that haven't posted here before) but just old ones (people that already asked and are re-requesting for their levels to be recorded)

I know you said you wouldn't take any news requests, but I thought I'd try my luck anyway, especially since you don't seem to be getting too many re-requests and I would REALLY love a little video to call my own.

If you have time at all, I would be so so so so so grateful if you could do record a playthrough of my level, The Jumping Castle (there's a thread for it in the Showcase, my signature should take you straight there). My level is only a couple of minutes long, and nothing would make me happier than having a spiffy looking HD video of it.

Hey Cog, my new level is just about done and I would be happy if you were able to make a trailer for it or a video walk through is fine if you can't do a trailer. (I'd prefer a trailer though ). I haven't openly and officially published it yet though so I'll send you a key to the level (or at least way to get to play the level via PM) tomorrow.

i was wondering if you can do one of my levels? my PSN is XVoodeedooX and the level is my best attempt at turning level creation into an art form. I have two costume collections, and one of them is called Twisted Temptation Costume Collection. It has a colorful swirly thumbnail, so it's easy to spot.

I've had my own attempts at recording my levels, simply by placing a low-quality camera in an awkward position in front of my tv to film it. I know that's not the way to do it, but since I don't have an HD camera or a CaptureCard, I'm hoping maybe you can do it?

Please let me know if this is possible! I've tried this on another HD recording service, but they never got to it, lol
