Change the menu when you are invited/asked to be joined.

I was playing Tye Dye, which is a level you need to concentrate on and get right in all parts, when someone invited me to play with them. I was jumping at the time, so I auto-selected join in the middle of a really good run-through. This meant I automatically left the pod (even though I couldn't even connect to him, but that is beside the point), ruining my score. This menu needs to be changed, here are some options:

Have it appear when you FINISH a level. Meaning, you won't have to ever have this problem. Ever.

Have it appear with deny/cancel as the first option. Accidental pressing of "no" is a lot less catastrophic.

This also happens in Create Mode. You've finished your masterpiece, suddenly your friend comes up and invites you to your game, and you press X. Boom, all gone. (of course, if you didn't save. :O)

Change the menu, and for Create Mode if you accept the level saves itself so you don't lose any progress.

Not fixed at all. It's happened to me loads of times and is really annoying. It seriously needs sorting because it's driving me mad. Just nearing the end of a good long level earlier today and pressed x to jump just as an invite popped up and it just whisked me away straight out of the level. GRRR

It's also a real pain when you're navigating a tricky platforming section and invariably you're just about to make the final jump when it pops up again and stops you mid jump and kills you. GRRR GRRR

If they don't sort this soon I'll have to seriously consider deleting all but my closest friends. It really is that **** annoying.

I've tried going to my name in the message section and selecting not available but it makes no difference whatsoever. GRRR GRRR GRRR

Yeah this definitely needs to be fixed. I would like it if it was like Call of Duty where you get an invite and it shows it somewhere on the screen where it doesn't disturb the game. You would have to press start to accept the invite or wait until you're done with the level. Also, I would like to be able to block all invites because sometimes I press don't allow join and 10 seconds later I get another invite. That's very annoying.2009-04-27 03:23:00

Yeah, they really need to fix this. At least an on/off option, that would be nice

Sometimes the friend messages annoy me as well, example: "X has just achieved x score on x"
If a lot of your friends are online, it can get distracting.

All they need is a notification saying "Johnny-baby has invited you to play!", then you proceed to pressing Start and LBPMessages or something of the sorts.2009-04-27 08:00:00

There. They should make the invites and such available in some sub-menu or accessing the notification itself with the press of a button you're not using while playing/creating.

How about something like the following thing when someone's leaving?

You press Triangle if you want to join the person who invited you or Circle to close the message.
