Oh i badly lost to the wobbling plattforms

Perhaps you should reduce the speed of them a bit.

hmm, okay ill try it
you really just need to time the jump so you jump when the edge of the platform is higher than the other side

and if i publish a level again, will i lose hearts and plays? or can i just save changes in create mode and it will auto update it?

No you won't lose anything.

Trust me. I aced every story level and can say for sure that this platforms moves way to fast. It looks a bit weird too. Also you should make it visible that the first plattform rotates to give the player a clue how it behaves.

EDIT: Just in the chase you don't know. You update a level by publishing your new version and overwriting the last level.

As the level is called "the sombrero", we can assume that the title is in English, and the anglisised version of the word sombrero refers to that specific type of hat, seems reasonable to me.

First of, I know we have invisible connectors now and it's a fun new toy, but I really did not understand your use of them in this level. Why have wobble bolts invisible, then leave it so I can see the dark matter behind them? On the balance beam at the beginning I thought it was an invisible sprung bolt, turns out it was invisible string which behaves differently, I need to know these things to interact with the level properly. On the other hand I don't NEED to see the motor blots on the trees but you left those in.

That aside, the toned down wobble bolts are fine, though I didn't play with the originals. I liked the fact you put in secret areas, but its not good that I had to die to find it - thats like rewarding me for being rubbish!

Overall it was a reasonable level, with some moderately challenging platforming, but there was nothing really original in there, it was all stock challenges. Combined with the fact that the visuals were quite basic, I decided 3 stars was appropriate.

From Spain and lived in Mexico for some years, i think i know what a that so called "Sombrero" is...
And as i said, sombrero just means "Hat" in spanish, yes i know you mean that big stereotipic hat that they used to use in Mexico like 50 years ago, that in ienglish is called a hat...
That's why i said that.

You're Mexican?
Well, i just really dislike any kinds of stereotypes, but if you being a Mexican are ok with it, i guess there's not much i can say about it now huh?

im used to stereotypes. it doesnt bother me when people make stereotypical jokes like mexicans being lazy and what not (no its not true >.>... well, excluding me).

but hey, how did we get on this subject :O

Wow, long discussion about hats.......
Anyway, I got round to playing this level and truth be told, it's nothing special. Don't get me wrong, it was a decent level with some good platforming and ideas but it was missing a few things.

Pros:
+Lovely lighting, placed in exactly where it looked best
+Some decent platforming
+The ideas were well set out in place and were, mainly, quite fun
+I got a decent photobooth picture
+Hidden areas!

Cons:
-Too much Mm characters, items and other stuff.
-A little bit weird
-Some of the platforming was more frustrating than fun

Just a tip, it's always good to get people to playtest your levels for difficulty and hidden bugs as if you're the only one playtesting it, you will know what to do. A random Happy Gadder will generally try to break your level

Overall I rated it 3 stars and weird

"-Too much Mm characters, items and other stuff. "

thanks for the feedback, dude!

but im just curious, other than that guy that you first see in the beginning, the bridge and the rotating wheels, what MM stuff did i use?
im trying to cut back on using the MM items (after the overusing on my first level D: ) so id appreciate you pointing it out so i can get rid of it for my next level

I think what he's referring to is all the MM stuff you used as background (cacti, trees, buildings, etc) personally, in the background it doesn't bother me too much, but it is always really cool when you see someone made their own (as i said before ).

I had a few of the same problems with visibility as well. sometimes you have to figure out when to keep the object visible Namely, the first platform (which i thought was a spring too) and the one after the ghost ball swing- theres a little floating platform that looks like a spring bounce or an elevator to me, so i tried to avoid it lol. There are also a few visible pieces of dark matter here and there, it would be nice if we couldnt see them. In case you didnt know, dark matter can be shrunk to a size so small that it is invisible (before placing it), so you can still attatch things to it, but it won't show up.

The secret area isn't necessarily so apparent- there may be an arrow, but the black arrow blends with the background somewhat, a red arrow would stand out more. Also, the grab switch needs to be set up so its directional (so when you grab it it goes up, and when you don't it goes down) because i accidentally let go and fell... and had to kill myself in order to get back up D:

Once again, you have a LOT of fun with decorating, i particularly liked the chile peppers The picture was cute, and i can't say that about many photobooth pictures. I'd love to see what you could do with a level thats all one particular theme. This time you even added lighting, which is rather fun and colorful I'd also like to see what you can do with the new global lighting switch

Overall, a good deal of improvement from your 1st level, 3 stars, and looking forward to seeing what you come up with next.

good god, i didnt even think of that! lol

hm i didnt know you could make invisable dark matter, ill have to try that sometime. ill get on fixing that grab switch tomorrow, too

"there may be an arrow, but the black arrow blends with the background somewhat, a red arrow would stand out more."

i wouldve thought just the opposite >.>
but anyways, thanks for the great feedback everyone! the level has 4 stars, last time i checked, and thats a good accomplishment for me
