Hello everyone!

My PSN is Silverpanther and I have been reading the posts in this forum for a while. However, thanks to johnrulz77, I actually created an account!

I love creating and playing in LBP. I guess my recent accomplishments would be having two of my levels on page 1 of the cool levels page! "Classic Arcade Games" and "The Creature" are the names of the levels if anyone is curious.

From what I've read, the community here seems great! I hope to learn a lot and have fun here!

Thanks!

*Look at my latest post in this thread please*- I'm going to start posting now!

Hmm... for some reason i like that name XD Could it be my name had any influence in it or just some random coincidence?

Anyways
Welcome to LBPC, hope you have a good stay.

Welcome!! The community IS great here, and I'm sure you'll like it here. There are many things to do here, such as requesting/making signatures, posting them in the "Rate the signature above you" thread, Showing off your levels in the Level Showcase, customizing your profile, playing forum games like "Type LittleBigPlanet with your elbow!!!" or even "The ctrl-V Game!", and much more!!! It's still a great forum for me, even though my PS3's dead!!!

I think he thought of it, Silverleon. His PSN is Silverpanther, and I'm sure he had that PSN before he found out about these forums, because how would you find an LBP forum without even having a PS3?

Well, i have used the name Silverleon in a lot of other places other than the forums you know? other forums, MMOs, and other places.
Anyways, i was saying it as a joke, so don't worry about it.

Make sure to visit the non-LBP sections of the forum. They are all a lot of fun.

Enjoy!

Ah yes, Welcome 'Creature' creator. Really liked your name up ontop of the roof in that stormy night sky... (brooding)... it was really a striking find! I am a fan.

But let's dispense with the pleasantries ...shall we?

If I remember correctly...

That darn train plain drove me nuts! I played your level alot in hopes of capturing a high-score and right from the get-go the train would foul me up-- it is very easy to fall to ground level via (oh!) those stairs-- thus canceling the multiplier (or worse) making the roof inaccessible. Anywho...

I am a fan. Really enjoyed your level, with just a dash of a wonderfully evil humor. I look forward to your next creation.

I'm sorry, but I've taken a slight offense to your comment. Although I haven't been a member here very long... I know I have added positively to the LBPC culture. I do not understand your intent.

Wasn't picking a fight, nor offering a full review... Finished I believe in the top 15 or so (not a hard level) just a good one; of which I am a fan. As stated above, (with what I hope Silverpanther understood to be my tongue planted firmly in my cheek), I was going for a top-score and that train was a little sketchy for me... Since this is a welcoming thread I stand by my originally written tone.

Welcome, I'm a fan! Played your level many times.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I have been busy lately and have not been able to post very often.

I'll most likely use the level showcase in a few weeks. I'm currently creating another "Who Done It?" level. (Essentially a murder mystery level)

Again, thanks for the welcome everyone!

Ummmm, yeah I can't really talk now--I am currently busy giving myself a well deserved 'swirly'. Funny, I look a little like that Buzz character now!

All Apologies.

No harm done, right?

I read online somewhere about the percentage of meaning lost in translation during on-line conversations being alarmingly high (Went looking for the article but couldn't find it).
It talks about how you can read a dozen different thing out of a few sentences and how the brain will sometimes automatically put an emphasis on a certain word or phrase that makes the message seem more hostile or unfriendly.

Stuff like:
I'm going to take her to prom.
I'm Going to take her to prom.
I'm going to take Her to prom.
I'm going to Take her to prom.

All the same words, but with the emphasis on a specific word, all those phrases say a different thing, right?

So, honest mistakes are made every day.

Hello everyone! I registered a while back but didn't post much. I suppose I'm more of a lurker but I'm hoping to change that and get more involved in the community. Once again, this is probably one of the most mature forums I go to, so thanks for being great and friendly everyone!2010-03-19 05:12:00

I honestly have no idea. I didn't even realize he copied my level until when I went to play LBP recently and a friend told me. It's sad that people have to resort to copying to get more hearts. It also made me angry that his level got more plays than mine.

My friends and I have good griefed the level but it hasn't been taken down. However there's no "stolen level" option to select when good griefing. I'm not sure what to do because the only way I can think of how he got my level is when I was republishing my level and might have accidentally switched on the 'copyable' option. Once you make something copyable it's pretty much the author's fault right?!

I wish there was some way to remove that level!!
