Allow me to say, I have a problem and it's quite honestly ******* me off. Really, really ******* me off.

I receive LBGifts (as they are called...) from other players which contain keys, objects and what not, and then I go to download the file (which is dubbed as being "Game Data") and I can't do it. I can't even get to it, it just stays there without a real purpose since I cannot highlight it. There isn't a corresponding button which I need to press to start the download. No, it's just a defunct image which laughs at me, as if to say, "Here, try clicking aimlessly at this, you ****!"

Someone help please?

Are you sure you press start in create mode, go to LBP messages and open the message?
the download should start if you opened it that way.

Its not just in create mode btw, anywhere In-game just press start -> LBP messages -> Select the message and download what it had, as simple as that

Where is the object saved? Because I can't find it in My Objects or Community Objects and I know I downloaded it because the message i clicked on earlier isn't there anymore.

I swear, these are the things they need to put in the LBP manual.

It brings up a popup for where the object is saved. If its an item it will be in community objects, if its a key it will be in the tool bag.2009-09-22 01:59:00

Nothing poped up when i clicked on the message.... and I don't see it in my communtiy objects, does that mean that I have to ask my friend to send it to me again!?2009-09-22 02:01:00

It seems like the best answer, unless you mistook it for a sticker and just forgot to look there xD Although, that has happened to me before >.<2009-09-22 02:05:00

No... you're not... it's just poorly set-up and not explained anywhere on how to do it.

You're not going crazy, I had the same thing happen once. Back in the day, dcf sent me something and I tried to download it but nothing happened. I think it's just one of those weird things. Every other object since then has working fine, but it was that one time that confused the crap outta me.

Nothing else to do but ask to have it resent, I'm afraid.

Lol @ Rustbukkit... Just wanted to point out that Korndawwg made that post back in April. It doesn't make your comment any less relevant, just funny.

Awww... well I went out to take the dogs for a walk on a rainy day, and it was quiet fun getting all muddy and fighting with your dogs to make them go the way you want them to.
Who said rainy days had to be sad! I'm not that angry anymore I guess i can wait while making other contraptions.

Always look on the bright side of life~~~
