ok people i think it's time we group together, and plan! Now we all wanna play lbp together for the first time ofcourse, and i think that if we want to successfully play together, we need to organize into groups of 4 people, and set a time to play ( obviously asap after the game launches ). now we should group people depending on many aspects... like if they have a bluetooth headset ( which i'm not sure if u can use ingame yet for online... ) Or group people into groups of timezones, that way when the game is released, we don't have 1 person playing at 1 am that'll crap out early and such,... everybody will play from one time to another. like 9-12 or something this way, the people who wanna play online will organize into groups of 4, depending on aspects listed above, and nobody is left scrambling to find a group to play with! and no video gamer here gets left behind! so please tell me what you think , and if your interested in starting to group. the earlier the better, we can get to know eachother, and memorize our names so we know who to choose to play with, and figure out who will run the server... and add each others psn names... the erlier the better!

While this is a neat idea... I don't know if it would work. The problem being is that the beauty of LBP is this mutliplayer aspect, which keeps at it's most 'fresh' when playing with many different players. While it's great to play with a friend alot - variety is the spice of life and it may get a bit annoying always playing with the same person. However i see how it could also turn out to be really fun too, so i'm not trying to shoot your idea down or anything! In a way the best thing to do would be everyone put their PSN names down to add everyone.... then when they're online - invite them! if they can play, they play! But then... there's already a PSN names thread for that eh...

what i meant is only for the first opening days... becuase EVERYBODY will be looking to find partners on the internet for the first few days, and i think if we assign partners now based on time they can play and such, nobody could be left out of playing online the first night! experiencing something for the first time is fun, but if you did it with others, i think it can be even funner, and i know i ( and many others ) don't wanna be stuck on opening night with not a full group because everybody grouped up already... these partners don;t have to be permanent, they can last only the first night... i will say i expect enough players to be available for everybody to be able to scrap together a group of 4, but better safe then sorry after all.

I think I'll just play with whoever's online. I have a few people I hope to play with, but other than that I'm just going to split my time amongst those who still have room for me. xD By all means, though, go ahead with this. I don't think it's a bad idea to help people find buddies to play with.

this is a good idea... this way people wont be left out... also... with 4 people to play with, we can get all that cool stuff from the maingame! i have a bluetooth and an eye... anyone wanna play with me? stix. cartman. anyone else really... (as long as they are good at platformers, i dont care who)

ok, so based on how many people are for this idea, we can decide if we have enough participants to keep this idea going... as of right now, if your intrested in doing this ( only for the first night, and there are no obligations, and no getting mad at people who decide not to do it ofcourse... ) so just post from here on saying something like sounds good i'm in, and then we can orginize into time zones and other criterias if we get enough people... just to be helpfull, if your posting to say you want in, just also post this: 1.if you have a bluetooth headset or usb headset ( or any headset that you know works ) 2. if you have ps eye 3. your timezone so for me,: i do have a bluetooth headset, i don't have ps eye yet, but plan to buy it b4 lbp comes out, and my time zone is eastern ( i live in nj )

a) no headset yet but pre-ordered Socom bundle with the headset that looks awesome ps3fanboy (http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2008/06/27/socom-headset-officially-revealed/) socom is released October 25th so that's in time b) Dutch, so +1 I think, play late so usually with the UK folk c) PSEye, yes but not hooked up yet. Only got it for LBP and with only 2 usb ports on my ps3 it can wait
