Hey Folks! Gravel here, I'm new to these parts. I love LBP. I've been playing video games and waiting for LBP for over thirty years. If your anything at all like me before you even got the plastic off LBP you were creating... It was, however, like some type of bizarre twelve-step program. First, there were issues of proportion, followed closely by my creations constantly falling apart. Fast on its' heels were; lack of sleep mistakes and the mixed-up mess-ups that carelessly rewinding can encompass. I still cant use the grids... it makes moving the cursor impossible. For awhile it looked hopeless. H4H requests made me feel all dirty, and my PS3 never gets turned off because my profile still can't be saved. Then I published my first two levels and... nobody played. So, I hit a snag. I am having trouble moving forward, I love to play games, I want to share. I very much want to be a member of this community. I hope to make friends and generally enrich the community in and about LBP. Stop bye leave me a note. I could never have enough friends. My levels; WaterFALLS & Watching the Wheels, are not one-nite stands, they require a little commitment. Hope to see you around! bill

Welcome to the forum! You'll find a ton of really helpful and creative folks here. To fix the profile problem you'll need to delete the photos & community objects from your profile - if it's still too full you'll need to start deleting costumes or extra levels from your moon. You can also use the search option here on the forum to find threads that help with profile problems. Hope you have fun here - it's a fun community. Don't worry peanuts will be offered shortly I'm sure - they usually are.

Remember, TWO golden rules: 1. Don't be a jerk 2. Don't H4H Follow those two simple rules, and you'll do fine . and even if you do H4h, people still abide by rule 1, and deal with you respectively O_o But still, don't do that anyway. not that I expect you to lol. Yeah, LBP is a toughie- in order to get anywhere in it, you pretty much HAVE to go to a forum to advertise and whatever. not many levels that achieve god plays but no one advertises them :/ Still, welcome aboard, and did I mention peanut? :kz:

Hello Gravel, let me be the tenth person to welcome you to our forums, you'll find loads of tutorials, tips, and levels for lbp here. As you can see, I am a Whale I've persevered through many obstacles during my stay at LBPCentral. I was hunted for my whale blubbah for a while, though most of the pirates died ( got banned or became inactive. ) There is only a few that still hunt me, though they are strong, they cannot defeat what has come to be the Whaaaaaaaaaaaaale. Since you had such a heartfelt story, I'm going to play both your levels, leave you some feedback and all that good stuff. Once again, welcome.

Welcome! I share all the pains and passions that you expressed in your intro. Tis a great game when it isn't driving you to irresponsibility and distraction, or giving you fits of creative anger (e.g. un-gluing, breaking, etc.), or leaving you feeling like the ugliest girl at the dance (e.g. no one's playing the level you spent 80+ hours building). I think you will find that much like the game, this place will give you back what you put into it. Perhaps the nicest, tightest community on the net right now. Enjoy. Hey sup Gravel! I didn't know you were havin so much troubles with creating and "marketing" your levels. You'll definitely find a lot of help here! Whether you're looking for new ideas, creation tips, level feedback, people to test your levels, or even friends to play with... its all happening here Btw if you're having problems saving due to too much STUFF... publish all your levels LOCKED, then you can delete your My Moon levels. Its a lot safer that way, you can just copy the published ones back onto your moon if you need them. Plus if you don't want to delete all your community objects, you can just put them all into a level, and publish that. Hope that helps.

thanks for the warm welcome fellow sacklings. With regards to my intro, I'm still the same guy. Long ago I just wanted more out of the game and the community... now, I just want to get some crap off my moon. I'm old. Old people dont change very much and I havent gotten better with time! I still build beautiful broken hard frustrating levels. Not a mass-appeal guy. But how i do like to play create share.
