Site suggestion

It would be nice if it showed your post count under where it says your rank (Thread for example). Its not THAT important but it would be helpful.

I noticed that it shows the post count when you click a name so I don't know how hard it is to add this feature to the site.

Sorry if this was already asked for but I didn't find it anywhere else.

We removed this a while ago as it became something for users to base their importance on (You have 1500 posts? Bah! I have 3500!). It was mostly playful, but it resulted in more spam than anything useful.

We also have something called Experience - you can check someone's "quality" as a member by clicking their username. It will show a bunch of information about them, including activity and XP level. That's a better way to decide how involved a member is.		2009-04-23 04:03:00

Ok got 2 more.

How about in the first page of the forum, next to where it says Threads & Posts, add another column that shows how much new posts have been added that you haven't read.

Also, I don't really have time to open every single thread in the Level Showcase to find some nice new levels. How about something that shows that a thread has a picture or a video in the thread like over at LittleBigWorkshop? A lot of threads don't have in the title if they have a picture or not. I usually don't play a level that's being promoted unless its promoted by someone other than the author or if the author added pictures to the thread and the level looks enjoyable.		2009-04-23 05:18:00

I would, but a) you can check for new posts in threads with a quick glance (look for bold text threads) and B) it would detract from space for thread titles.

Yeah, I have - as far as I can tell, there's no easy way to add this in, and I don't have the coding chops to whip up a custom design. Sorry. 		2009-05-22 05:29:00

Sorry for bothering you CC but I think I have a better idea. I'm not sure if this is the same as what I suggested before but would it be easier to implement if it was an option (like F4F) that you can choose when you're making a level promotion thread.

For example, let's say I'm making a promotion thread, I choose F4F then I click a checkbox if I have images or videos. This would help level promotion IMO since some forget to put in the title that images are included or some don't even know that that helps. Having a checkbox there would serve as a reminder.

I would think that would be easier than the other thing since its kinda like the F4F thing but I'm not sure.		2009-05-24 08:46:00
