Yeah, I know, confusing title, but I was wondering if it was confirmed how random players might be able to meet up for online multiplayer levels, or if it's friends list only, which would be bad. Anyway, if it hasn't, which I don't believe it has, and I'm sorry if it has, but anyway, I think that the online matchmaking should be a lobby. Like in FPSs and other games like that, where you create a room. You could decide if your team will be 2, 3, or 4 players. Of course, each and every level would have a lobby- which may be difficult for the server to handle, but it would be harder for us to have one lobby and sort through one of the millions of levels to create a lobby for, and whatnot. This lobby may only be useful for brand name levels, i.e. the big ones everyone plays by the best, and whatnot. Sorry if this is old and out of date or confirmed to be different, I was just wondering how playing with people not on your friends list might work. And sorry if this should go in the ideas section; Iwasn't to sure since it was an idea for the Share section to work, not create. Anyway, yeah.

do whatever you want, go public (anyone can join) go private (friends/invitation only) or mix them both (reserve 1 or 2 spaces for your friends.

And the "lobby" is the pod you hang out in before deciding on a level, so even when you are waiting for a game you are in control of your sackboy.
