Rectangles

When creating and using a square. Holding down one buttom would lock the y axis to help making rectangles easier. It would speed things up, and make things less fiddley, especially when making holes in shapes. | 2009-04-21 13:44:00 Author: bindibaji Posts: 119 |
but you can just hold down x and drag the square across to make a rectangle | 2009-04-21 15:30:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
but you can just hold down x and drag the square across to make a rectangle Not only that but it also won't move on the Y axis why you drag it. Very convenient actually. . | 2009-04-21 18:10:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |

It does this already maaaaan And for extra control, you can use the grid guides as well | 2009-04-21 18:31:00 Author: noddle111 Posts: 174 |
Not only that but it also won't move on the Y axis why you drag it. Very convenient actually. . When I say lock the Y axis I mean at a user specified lenght then when you press up on the R3 with the axis locked the x axis increases giving you a rectangle. | 2009-04-22 07:48:00 Author: bindibaji Posts: 119 |
You use a square the size of the small edge, then drag the length of the long edge, how is this fiddley? As rangerZero said it locks on the y axis, also you can rotate it to diagonal and it locks on a perpendicular diagonal axis to make neat diagonal rectangles. I used this to cut nice neat diagonal lines through an object. | 2009-04-22 13:27:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |

I used this to cut nice neat diagonal lines through an object. It sounds like it's just me then, that has had this problem. Oh well, maybe one day I'll suggest something useful | 2009-04-22 13:42:00 Author: bindibaji Posts: 119 |
