Spell Checker Not Working

| It's not that big of a deal, but on my thread with my story 'The Unknown' on it, the spell checker is not working. When I ever post a new thread or post, it works. I'm guessing it may be something to do with it's length as it is a very big post. It's kind of annoying, as when I am writing my story I tend to make several mistakes, and then I don't really re-read them, so my viewers must correct me. If you need to see the thread it is here. | I dinnoo wit yur takin bat mines workan fine. Seriously though, I went through the post and fixed the five or six errors at the end with mine. Mine's working fine. Keep in mind, if you're using Firefox, the spell-check option doesn't even display. Our WYSIWYG editor auto-detects browser-based spell-checkers, and will hide itself if one exists. In IE, you spell-check using a plugin - that plugin is not effective for large posts. It's not a plugin that we have any control over, it's just an option provided for you by vBulletin. If it's ineffective with large posts, it's an issue with the plugin, not our site. Firefox's spell-checker works fine regardless of the amount of text, so you may want to look into switching at some point if you're looking for a faster, more reliable browser. | 2009-04-21 00:16:00 Author: ConfusedCartman  Posts: 3729 |
