Say you're playing online with friends, but have go to "BRB!" to eat a couple slices of pizza, bathroom break, throw a couple of shoes at your cat... You press Start, enter "Standby Mode" and your Sackperson goes off-screen as if your controller had been turned off, being able to jump in at anytime. I imagine people could exploit this in X or Y way, but it could be adjusted, somehow. What do you think? Useful, considering you wouldn't have to leave the "party/group", or have the group stand there waiting for you.

Great suggestion! Except, I always keep a pile of shoes next to my controller to throw at my cat. And a catheter. And I have an intravenous drip for my food. But yeah, great suggestion.

I could be in a level, creating, for an hour, and it seems like I only have to do chores as soon as I join my friends >_<

JUst turn your controller off o.O YEah, but keep in mind that a lot of times when you do this you'll dissconnect from the others when you return, and also if you don't turn your controller back on before they finish the level you'll stay in the level too....
