Revision to Community Object Collection Settings
Archive: 6 posts
Turning community object collection off in the settings should make it so the objects are deleted when you exit the level. Currently they are deleted immediately, so you cannot go for 100%. Also it really hurts creative sticker levels. You never collect the sticker and can therefore get stuck in a stage. | 2009-04-20 03:17:00 Author: dcf Posts: 468 |
well, if you dont want the objects... you probably dont want the 100% complete objects but i totally agree on the sticker issue, sticker switches are great for RPGs (so you can have an inventory), or even keeping players out (like Boss Rush 2 part 2). The items are the biggest pain to me, because i can delete stickers anywhere, i have to stop playing and go to my moon to clear out items =/ | 2009-04-20 04:27:00 Author: Burnvictim42 Posts: 3322 |
Yeah this feature really has been sort of thrown there by Media Molecule without much thinking behind it (who is surprised, really) Since they know some sticker switches are there right after the level is loaded, an exception should have been made so when a prize bubble contains the corresponding sticker to the switch, this bubble is earned regardless your setting. It's some ridiculously easy thing to do and some really sad detail to be overlooking. | 2009-04-20 05:30:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |
Yeah, people have to end up using stickers you get in story mode for sticker switches It's not greatly thought out, but I keep the option "ON" just so I don't have this problem | 2009-04-20 09:01:00 Author: Coxy224 Posts: 2645 |

Hopefully this will become the general behavior of the LBPer. . The good news is that the default is "on." One needs to search for the option so this may not actually be a large problem. | 2009-04-20 16:00:00 Author: dcf Posts: 468 |
