| Please check out my level Jack Skellington Costume and leave a comment, it's not your typical stickers on the wall costume level, it is a detailed walkthrough of Halloweentown and other locations from Nightmare Before Christmas. I spent a lot of time getting the look and atmosphere right. It is getting great comments so far. You also get my Jack costume as a prize for completing the level. I'm so going to check it out! I love Jack! You'll need to work up one for Sally though  btw, did you see the Nightmare before Christmas fan club social group here? Not much to do for it but it helps people with other interests connect. I'll let you know how I like the level! EDIT: WOW - seriously wow! Just LOVED this level. It's a costume level but the design work and character creation is really exceptional! Very Tim Burton! I absolutely adore it - and the costume is wonderfully done and not hard to make either! 5 stars and the only costume level I've EVER hearted! | Thanks for the reply Morgana! A lot of people won't give costume levels a chance because so many of them are sticker on the wall levels, so I wanted to make one that someone would enjoy even if they weren't looking for the costume. this was my first level, so I was experimenting a little, finding out what the program could do as far as atmosphere, I want to add action to my next level without sacrificing appearance. I appreciate the play, I played one of your levels last night and loved it, I was playing the level with my son, we hearted it, I am going back in today and give it a run through and a comment in my name and play some of your other levels. this level hasn't recieved much feedback or comments from this forum so far, so I appreciate you stepping up to bat! thanks! | 2009-04-21 13:14:00 Author: RE_pulse Posts: 17 |

| Wow, for a costume level that was superb. I'm not normally a fan (I've used the same un-stickered costume since I unlocked it in November) but that was something else. The visuals where out of this world, I loved the twisted iron railings and gates, and the start section was brilliant. Even if you don't care for the costume, then you need to play this level. Even if you don't like the costume (how can you not like that awesome costume?) you should still play it just to see how amazing the level looks. Can't wait to see your future projects! If you haven't checked out their levels, you owe it to yourself to. check them out, that is I would love it if I could see my costume on more members of lbpcentral! The other day I had logged into my pod and before I could do anything I had 3 people ask to join, when they appeared, they were all wearing my Jack costume! :eek:talk about freaky! | Your costume level was quite amazing pulse!! Never have I seen a recreation of a movie or tv-show in LBP this accurate before!! Most importantly, it really had that halloweentown-charm to it!! The way you replicated Burton's visual style and the attention to the little details such as the cog that opens the gate left me greatly anticipating the release of your next "real" level!! | I played the level and loved it - really recreates the feel of halloweentown and then gives you a lovely costume! Pros: +The costume is well explained +Not just another rubbish sticker-on-wall level! +Beautiful scenery +Some nice gameplay aswell +Actually a costume I'm going to keep! One of the best things that comes with publishing a level is that (hopefully) people all over the world will get some enjoyment out of something that you did, and getting the positive feedback from you lets me know that! | Even if you publish one totally different from Jack - I'd love to see you take your creations from this level and make a more traditional platformer. I'm flattered at the response I have recieved from this level, and I have a couple of ideas for incorporating it into a "real" level, wanted to try something a little different first!
