Can I ask a totally noob question? Are you guys linking the photos from your PS3's HDD or taking them off the PS3 with a flash drive then uploading from a PC? | 2009-04-20 06:40:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |

Morgana25 is that first one the Kabuki Actor Costume hair stickered white with buttons, a wedding dress with buttons, white stickered cowboy boots, teeth, magic wand and a white skin (what exact skin is that btw?) ? Because I need to steal it from you lol I like the second one. It's like willy wonka. The third is also cool, but I dont have pack | 2009-04-21 02:54:00 Author: dkjestrup Posts: 672 |
Man I already made a thread for this But whatever, here's mine; http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/4638/aphotow.jpg I use this one the most, and I've made it much better since Cornish Yarg. Mine is pretty ballin. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v424/bigfoot_721/APhoto_5.jpg I like to keep it simple. I have boughten many costume packs, and I have no friggin idea why, since I never use them. I think it kind of beats the point of the game. | 2009-04-21 04:58:00 Author: Robbie Posts: 41 |
Morgana25 is that first one the Kabuki Actor Costume hair stickered white with buttons, a wedding dress with buttons, white stickered cowboy boots, teeth, magic wand and a white skin (what exact skin is that btw?) ? Because I need to steal it from you lol That's almost perfect - Trainers for shoes, glowing eyes, ruby at the neckline, buttons on the hem and as a focal point of the headpiece and the skin is White Weave. Steal away if you like it! | 2009-04-21 07:14:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
Lol, I already have xxkappaxx's box ghost so.... I was going to make it, but failed because I didn't have the Kabuki Actor hair, because I had already downloaded it on my last PS3, but I managed to fix it so I'm set. | 2009-04-21 07:20:00 Author: dkjestrup Posts: 672 |
Well, you could do that or you could use the method i told you about. That doesn't answer the question for the other noobs ... how do I get screenshots on my PC? I don't happen to have a USB around but the PC is connected via Network? | 2009-04-21 07:28:00 Author: Fjonan Posts: 359 |
You could upload them from the web browser on the PS3 to an album in your profile here. Then go to the computer and download them from the album to your computer hard drive couldn't you? They'll be 72dpi but on the computer screen it should look ok. | 2009-04-21 07:34:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
Normal computer screens do always use 72dpi, so that is fine. Thanks, that is a great idea! I hate the PS3 browser but for thos things I guess I could use it. The only sad thing is the resolution (width and height) of the pictures, i would love to make full size screenshots of my level. | 2009-04-21 08:40:00 Author: Fjonan Posts: 359 |

Thank you Morgana for you tip, worked perfectly. So this one is my standard outfit: http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=401&pictureid=3443 I love it. Yes I mainly got stuck on the first outfit you come by in the game but it is just great. Maybe I will change it a bit with stickers n stuff but besides the cape it is just standard and as I love it and it fits my thief levels PERFECTLY so if you want to enjoy my levels, you got to wear this outfit, mabe a bit darker but ... like this one. http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=401&pictureid=3442 I also enjoy quite simple outfits like this neon green sack. I find this most enjoying when hanging around with super detailed and stuffed sack persons. It is a nice counter weight and still looks interesting in my opinion. http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=401&pictureid=3441 My first real self created outfit. A pity I cannot show it in detail. It has the munition bags from the MGS soldiers, the raged pirate pants, boots and gloves and the hat with the ponytail from the chinese new years costume. I used a sticker that was captured from one of the stone materials to get the camoflage look, made the one eye white and ... this specialty ... stickered the teeth to have one golden tooth in the middle. I love this outfit a lot, looks like a psycho rambo soldier sack. | 2009-04-27 12:22:00 Author: Fjonan Posts: 359 |

These are all older costumes. Sorry these are so freaking big, but I'll post some of my more recent costumes once I get them down to a more viewer friendly size. Here's a couple of shots of my Rorschach costumes I was recently using. I need a scarf and fedora to complete the look though. http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=256&pictureid=2231 http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=256&pictureid=2232 My Headless Horseman complete with working/moving flames inside. Nope, if you're in someone else's pod you can't even take out a decoration from a pack they don't own Really sad but I guess it protects the content. Just like you can no longer take stickers off the walls if you don't own them | 2009-05-26 12:22:00 Author: Coxy224 Posts: 2645 |
Ahh so it's a decoration. Oh well I wouldn't have been able to paint them black to make raven wings anyway then... BTW Morganna, I don't really hate you, and also - I always find the Kai skin looks that little bit cuter with a lion nose | 2009-05-26 12:28:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |

BTW Morganna, I don't really hate you, and also - I always find the Kai skin looks that little bit cuter with a lion nose No worries Yea - the wings are a decoration and unable to be colored by stickers. The monster pack has some AWESOME bat wings. I'm still working on them in a costume but they will so be used a lot on my sackboy. I also discovered an interesting thing to do with the monster pack eyes on sackboy. If you place them just right - they blink. | 2009-05-26 17:27:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
Haha yeah, I made a crazy looking Sackboy with the monster pack by putting one green eye on the left eye, one red eye on the right, the bent nail/screw on one side of the head and the tip of the nail coming out of the other side . | 2009-05-26 17:54:00 Author: brnxblze Posts: 1318 |

It reminds me of the old cartoon "Gargoyles". I am pretty new to the game. Do you guys buy the packs or just use items in game? I have most of the packs, and use a combination of in-game stickers and decorations as well as those from the packs. I find costumes are much more unique and interesting when sticking decorations to your characters. I just wish we could sticker decorations to change them up even more. | 2009-05-29 14:54:00 Author: Rustbukkit Posts: 1737 |
I tend to make characters based on the levels or series I'm playing. The first was originally created for Morgana's Chroma Stone series. I tend to use him the most. The second is my own lil Agent 13 made for the Siberia series by GrantosUK. The rest are a demon I made and a couple ninja's. Have loads more. I just didn't want to take up a page showing em off. | 2009-05-29 19:46:00 Author: Chicago51 Posts: 258 |

Wow..! I love that costume! But i guess you used the patapon outfit..? Thanks! I used the Green Daisy skin, then added the Werewolf Torso from the Monster Pack and Patapon headpiece and stickered both of those lime green. I then added the green eye from the Monster Pack to the Patapon headpiece, and stickered tentacles from the Monster Pack onto the legs, arms, and body. I finished it off with a piece of Seaweed on the top of it's head... et voila! Easy peesy! http://i702.photobucket.com/albums/ww28/Rustbukkit/LittleBIGPlanet/IMG_7819.jpg | 2009-06-09 01:50:00 Author: Rustbukkit Posts: 1737 |

I have a slightly different looking version of him that I made right after this one.... but it just doesn't have quite the same cool factor and looks a little more alien. I'll take a pic and post if you like. | 2009-06-11 02:09:00 Author: Rustbukkit Posts: 1737 |

This one is probably my favourite. Being a complete Star Wars Geek, I wanted to make a cool looking Bounty Hunter. http://i702.photobucket.com/albums/ww28/Rustbukkit/LittleBIGPlanet/IMG_7841.jpg[/QUOTE] MY ADVICE, TAKE OUT THE NARIKO'S SWORD. OMG rustbukkit, your costumes are WIN! Mind I make them myself? Even if I did mind, I couldn't really stop you. Seriously though, I don't mind.... knock yourself out. Just as long as I don't hear that you won some LBP costume contest somewhere with them... lol. I've actually been considering making a level showcasing my custom costumes, and give away the correct stickers as prizes like some of the other costume levels. Haven't decided yet as they are kind of dear to me.... but I suppose it couldn't hurt to have them out there and maybe inspire other costume makers to come up with some ideas. | 2009-06-15 00:21:00 Author: Rustbukkit Posts: 1737 |

What about a pipe on his back? Yeah, I tried that too but it just looks like a big... uhm... pipe on his back. lol Until we get a BFG decoration, I'm fine with it. Although we don't see any bounty hunters in the films use what we consider swords... it doesn't mean they don't exist in the SW universe. This weapon would fall under the category of Vibroblades. Though it's not a lightsaber, vibroblades are still pretty deadly. Quote: "The hum of the vibroblade gives it away. nah, man, i dont think anything's wrong with it. try deleting extra things you dont need, like items you made yourself, or items you collect in other people's levels. also, if you have a lot of games, it may be cuz of that. the save files take up a decent amount of memory as well. on topic, i think i will take more pictures of costumes i have, other than the one i posted a while back :] | 2009-06-18 06:24:00 Author: gofurr360z Posts: 886 |

Which Altair do you guys think is better? I still prefer the Headscarf over the Druid Cowl. http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l27/curse_seal/AltairCompare.png | 2009-06-26 18:57:00 Author: Krizshtun Posts: 12 |
For that costume I think the druid piece works better Krizshtun. The one thing I've noticed is that the druid pieces (especially the hood) are highly reflective of light, making them look as if they are made of plastic. Did I miss something in history class about the Druids inventing plastic? Well just as I thought, that big ugly flower on the robe renders it completely useless for custom costumes. I tried to make a simple updated version of a Jawa and attempted to sticker part of his bandolier over top of the flower but it just doesn't work. The flower just forces any decoration being placed over it to skew at odd stretched angles or simply float in space out in front of the robe. I ended up using a different torso costume piece with the hood (which is a perfect shape for the Jawa), but the dang hood is so reflective of light that it's almost useless as well. In head on views it looks great, but as soon as I turn my head to the left the dang thing glows like a light bulb. Anyways, here's a pic of my version of a Jawa. http://i702.photobucket.com/albums/ww28/Rustbukkit/LittleBIGPlanet/IMG_7898.jpg | 2009-06-26 19:35:00 Author: Rustbukkit Posts: 1737 |
Yes Rustbukkit, I agree with you that the Druid Costume could have been better. I've also noticed the problems the flower causes. The Reflectiveness is one of the reasons I prefer the Headscarf. The Cowl doesn't look too bad in the pics I posted, but it just looks horrendous ingame. And I don't remember Altair's hood having a giant point on the back. lol But I kept trying to work on the Robe for Ezio, because the two capes looked funny, and the robe's cape is kinda nice. http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l27/curse_seal/APhoto_7.jpg Shame you can't even see the cape in this pic, I'll get another tomorrow. | 2009-06-26 20:05:00 Author: Krizshtun Posts: 12 |

http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l27/curse_seal/APhoto_8.jpg You can kinda see the cape, it was hard to sticker it red without messing up the rest of the costume. | 2009-06-27 22:27:00 Author: Krizshtun Posts: 12 |

I was making a costume once and put a Googly Eye on it, only to have it mess up like yours, lol. Except, it was much thinner. | 2009-07-01 21:16:00 Author: Krizshtun Posts: 12 |

I notice a lot of people with a black sword on their backs. How do you get that? It looks really nice. My most used Sackboy is the Reaper Conduit outfit, you can just search for the level I learned to make it on. It's pretty neat. | 2009-07-02 22:25:00 Author: SlyNinja11 Posts: 11 |
I just made a new sackboy. I think he's my favorite I might have to get Oli to make me a new avatar! http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t237/blopwiicade/APhoto_18.jpg http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t237/blopwiicade/APhoto_17.jpg I spent a lot of time getting all the stuff on his face looking good. And it took me a while to find the perfect sticker for the beard. Also, you can't really see it in this picture, but his hair isn't just half black half red. It's kinda braided, with strands of black and strands of red on both sides. It looks really cool when he moves, because the hair is just a little wavy. Also, up close the nose ring doesn't look as good. It looks better at a more normal distance: http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t237/blopwiicade/APhoto_19.jpg | 2009-07-03 07:41:00 Author: hilightnotes Posts: 1230 |

Here's a couple of my favourite sackpeople, I use them whenever I play some kind of outerspace, sci fi, or apocalyptic level. I call them the caretakers because of the level I'm working on that has them in it.
