Anyone know how MM did the rocks in Boomtown?

I've been having a look, trying to replicate them. There are two different shades of what looks like stickered wood. Things is they aren't stickered, or if they are I can't remove them. I'd be glad of any ideas or solutions. | 2009-04-19 15:58:00 Author: GruntosUK Posts: 1754 |
Sideways rotated orange wood I think. | 2009-04-19 16:02:00 Author: S-A-S--G-U-N-R Posts: 1606 |
I need to have a look, but it could possibly be the effect the global environment settings has on the rocks which gives them that look. I noticed that combinations of colour correction, fog, daytime, darkness and backgrounds always produce vastly different visual results on everything in a level (without even getting into how stickers and lighting affect it as well). One material might look one way on one setting, and then completely different on another. Edit : It's orange wood | 2009-04-19 16:05:00 Author: noddle111 Posts: 174 |
