Randomly Generated Signatures (Changing)

Archive: 17 posts

Well, I did mention this in SOTW, but as I've received a couple of messages and several posts about it, here's how my sig works.

Click hyah (http://avatarchange.com/part/member/act/avatar)

I found this website a while ago - just sign up, add some sigs to your profile, then use your general link (should end in your username .gif) as an img bbcode in your signature. The website will shuffle through your sigs (try refreshing the page and look at my sig each time).

This also, of course, works for avatars, but you will need a separate account. It'll also work for any other images you want to randomly cycle through.

Enjoy!

So rep someone else first

Oh and you may need to click Make Public for it to work properly, I'm not sure.

thank you, guys, for using my avatars changing service. I think, you've got the main point of the service. I made it several years ago and forgot about it
Now I'm working on new improved version and I would appreciate any suggestions.
dawesbr, I have to approve each of new avatars to make them public. That I already done with yours.
Cheers.

Hey Vitaliy! I found your site through google - it saved me a lot of hassle trying to make my own on a friends webspace. It's a really good website, thanks a ton for making it!

And CnP and everyone else, the link to the signature you need to use is:

http://avatarchange.com/r/USERNAME.gif

where USERNAME is what you signed up as.

I know this thread is dead, but I just want to thank Dawesbr for telling me about this.

Thanks! Now I don't have to decide between my two signatures! A robot does it for me!!

Yeah, I noticed that right after I started using the randomly generated sigs.

This is strange. I'm trying to get the Random Avatar to work, but whenever I enter it on this site, it simply says 'INVALID URL' any idea why?2009-06-04 19:03:00

Could you give me a bit more information? The reason it may be doing it is because you may have to buy the ultimate bundle to use gifs...though I thought that was only for uploading them to the site (CnP uses a gif without the bundle...). Hmm.2009-06-05 19:30:00

That's not true.

Most of my avatars have been .gifs, actually.

I'm not sure what more information I could give you, there's four images which alternate, and it works on other sites.

Hmmm...very odd indeed...the best I can do is recommend asking CC about this. Seems to me that it's a site issue...2009-06-05 19:59:00
