Towering Ascent (with video)

I decided I should post my levels that I create here from now on, so here's a video:

This was a level that fell victim to the "Failed to load level" error. However, yarg came down and fixed it along with my LittleBigCaveStory level. So I quickly finished up my level and published it when Cornish Yarg arrived. If you want to play this level, my PSN is XPHomeo. Alright Mr Fish.

The start is a bit mysterious moody which lends itself to the whole level.
Was unsure about what to do with the doll so took him down until he disappear. Maybe a bit more explaing is needed. A lot of quess work is needed.
I like the paint ball stairs nice and original. However. I managed to get to the first level then couldn't get any further Floaty black squares disapeared to quickly I did manange to get the points. But trying to get back onto the paint stair thing was very hard and more down to luck. So maybe after you get to the first level change the method for moving up? Sorry I was unable to finish it.

Edit - I just watched the video and i'm still finding it difficult to get up there using the black floaty stuff.

The bit with the doll has two solutions, you can either just break the doll by tossing it around since it's so "fragile" or take it back down to the start of the level.

The black floaty squares do go up high enough to get you to the next area, but only if you're not standing on them. So once you get on one, you have to jump over and over and try to minimize your time spend on the square. If that makes any sense.

I played this last night - well some of it - I couldn't finish it. The paintball stairs were just too much of a challenge for me. You've got a ton going on in this level though.

I liked that you aren't afraid to mix up the skills the player needs to finish the level but for an "average" player I think parts may be a little too difficult.

I didn't see a specific/consistent "style" for the look of the level but all the exposed dark matter is sort of a turn off for me. Bare minimum you could add color stickers to it to make it look a little better if you wanted to.

If you like it I wouldn't worry about changing it but I don't know if the average player will like it enough to heart it or rate it very high as it is. Just my opinion though and I did enjoy checking it out. Thanks for sharing it.
