First movie you ever saw at the theater?
Archive: 20 posts
The earliest memories I have of seeing movies in a theater are of Toy Story, Tomorrow Never Dies, Titanic, Jumanji, Twister, The Nutty Professor, and the theatrical re-release of the original Star Wars trilogy. Toy Story is the first film I remember seeing. I might've seen stuff before that, but it's been so long that I've completely forgotten. What are yours? | 2009-04-16 10:07:00 Author: UCHU Posts: 73 |
Ha, some re-release of Snow White & the seven dwarfs. I think I was about 4,5 years old but I can still remember it well. | 2009-04-16 10:52:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
Really good question... I don't know WHAT my first movie theater movie was... Hmmm... I think the earliest I can remember is Ghostbusters II. The Scaleri Brothers scared the crap out of me. | 2009-04-16 11:05:00 Author: Teebonesy Posts: 1937 |

My first movie just so happens to be the original Ghostbusters. Mind you I was a mere two weeks old, but I like to think that Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Harold Ramis had a tremendous impact on my future persona that day. | 2009-04-16 15:27:00 Author: supersickie Posts: 1366 |
Absolutely no idea. The first I remember is Home Alone 2 because the electrocution part really scared me. Would have been 4 or 5. | 2009-04-16 16:23:00 Author: Burrich Posts: 1018 |

Man, you guys are making me feel old..... I went to the ORIGINAL Star Wars release at the movie theatre. And that wasn't the first movie I saw in the theatre. I have no idea what the first one I saw was. I still consider a lot of the movies mentioned here as newer movies.... Ghostbusters II???? I saw that while I was in college! | 2009-04-16 19:51:00 Author: CCubbage Posts: 4430 |
Star wars is epic though.. | 2009-04-16 19:52:00 Author: CreateNPlay Posts: 1266 |

With tomorrow's technology, you'll live to be 200! You're not old until you reach at LEAST 180. | 2009-04-17 01:42:00 Author: Teebonesy Posts: 1937 |
Man, this is a toughie. The first movie that comes to mind is Back to the Future 2. | 2009-04-17 03:09:00 Author: mrsupercomputer Posts: 1335 |
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0202965/ that one. Norwegian. But that's CRAZY because this means I remember going to the movies when I was six. I can remember seeing turtles 2. That was 91. Can't believe I remember this. I remember Jurassic Park too. 93-4. One of my classmates who saw that told us the next day at school that he got so afraid of the t-rex that he had to stand in the corner at the cinema facing the wall. Oh, when Hard Rain came out with I think Christian Slater and Morgan Freeman myself and a friend and not much more people saw it. Pretty much empty theater. | 2009-04-18 00:10:00 Author: BasketSnake Posts: 2391 |

I'm not sure, although I do remember the first R rated film I saw in the theater. It was "The Rock" then I was 8. | 2009-04-22 04:16:00 Author: Walter-Kovacs Posts: 542 |
