To my recollection Morgana is the only one I've discussed my failing years with. But I figured I was probably skewing the average pretty heavily. Y'all are mostly about the age of my boyz (15 & 16). They neither one care much for LBP, though officially the game belongs to the younger as he was the one who asked for it for Christmas. What can I say? I started creating and I got hooked. Better than drugs this game.

About the growth spurts: I remember leaving for the summer after freshman year and all the guys were shorter than me, then beginning sophmore year about 1/2 were taller than me. I'm 5' 10.5" so a lot of the guys grew a lot over the summer. Purely anecdotal experience but that was back in 88-89 so it's ancient history for most of you.

Wow this thread took off over night. So, to get this straight: Arkei, May 27th 1997, 11 years old mistervista, April 25th 1959, 49 years old Those are the current boundaries. I think I'm down as 5th youngest at the moment I'm officially the youngest Year 10 ever xD (That is, I think, 9th grade?) - July 16th, 1995. Lol. I'm in what you call the 7th grade. I'm 8/29/96. I missed 6th grade by 3 days- so I'm the youngest 7th grader ever. Dont worry! Currently I'm the youngest 7th grader here. 19/11/09 (In Australia, we go DD/MM/YY). Fun fact: In Perth, I would be in year 8 as they have a year less than us. Basically a missing grade in preschool time. They fixed that now though.

Here have an internet by the way It sure does and yes CC also it's that alright, and although I haven't got so many great gaming years to look forward to as you younger guys and my reactions are slower and my eyesight worse than it used to be ( which means i do struggle with the harder levels ) i'm still enjoying it. I've even found a new lease of life with the create mode in this game and even though i'm not one of the best creators it's still very enjoyable to have a go and meeting people like yourselves and getting nice comments and feedback on my work makes it even better.

I love the range here too. I always felt kind of guilty as an older gamer. Like I should be doing something more "constructive" with my spare time. Being here on LBPC has changed my mind about that. I think it's pretty healthy to play as an adult. Keeps things from getting too serious sometimes. I especially like that this game in particular can appeal to such a diverse group of people. Sure kids play it but like a lot of animated films it works on multiple levels.

Maybe it's just a difference in the grade system? I think that different countries are about one year apart (ie "Year 7" in one country is "Year 8" in another.)

Okay, let's sort this school year debate out. In England, you turn 12 in year 7, 13 in year 8, 14 in year 9, etc. I start year 10 in September, when I'm still 14, but I'll turn 15 in October. Basically, anyone who was born between 1st September 1994 and 31st August 1995 is in year 9 now in England.

I don't think so, I think the American 'grades' are either 1 up or 1 down on English 'years'.

You were just trying to up your post count I think US grades are 1 down on English grades, but what about American vs. Australian (ie, snrm vs LBM.)

According to google, Year 9 is 14-15 in Australia, which is the same as America, so Snrm's problem still stands. We need LBM in here.

I'm here :3. Though I'm going to bed.... I will be here in 16 hours from now. I like to use hours instead f time because of time zones. Darn sun! It causes many problems for me. Anyway, The average age for people in my class (Year 7) is 12-13 so that matches up. I don't think there is a problem.... Or is there >_> >_< <_<.

People in my grade are ether 11 or 12. ( this is 6th grade) and im 12 since my birthday has already passed. I just find it weird Littlebigme is younger than me but n 7th grade

Man this game has one wild age reange, from 5yr olds to 50 yr olds! I doubt there are, if any, many of games that can do the same.
