LBP Tips Special 2 ? Switches
Archive: 16 posts
What?s this? Could it be a follow up to the first tips special video from January? Yes it could be, and in fact is. Presented by designers Mark and Danny, this, the second video in the series, will show you the magic behind a whole host of different switch mechanisms. On the menu tonight we have: one shot switches, counting mechanisms, delay mechanisms, multi-task switches and simple logic test mechanisms. Enjoy! Yeah, this is seriously cool. A bit late, but it's still fantastic that the dev team is making tutorial videos. On a side note, threads merged and - due to a glitch - some posts were lost. Apologies if yours was one of the victims! | 2009-04-15 23:51:00 Author: ConfusedCartman Posts: 3729 |
That was cool, and slightly helpful! | 2009-04-16 00:04:00 Author: Kog Posts: 2358 |
LOL I watched the vid earlier after seeing this thread but forgot to post. You know my posts would've been deleted though (as I'm always loosing them ) Love any vid from MM and this one was very nice | 2009-04-16 00:04:00 Author: dorien Posts: 2767 |
What the... if you pause the video at 5:26 you can see their popit, and they have an extra button. We have 8, (Kill, Tools, Materials, Stickers, Selector, Chat, Sackboy, and Hearted) They have a ? mark! I have no idea what this does, any suggestions? Cool video by the way! The "?" is the tutorial button.. Very nice video. Helpful and simple, I hope this somehow encourages other players to put some thought in their creations | 2009-04-16 00:29:00 Author: AwesomePossum Posts: 446 |

3:20 - connect a switch set to 1-shot to a piston. Doesn't work. The one thing I learn from this video is a bloody lie! Marvelous Edit - works on flippers. So I did learn something new And I leaned not to be too hasty in my critisisms | 2009-04-18 10:45:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |
Good video. But why didn't they make these when the game was released? It's a little too late now. | 2009-04-18 11:08:00 Author: olit123 Posts: 1341 |

I agree, a little late, but very helpful. It's funny hearing the monotone strong English accent and then a more excited, lighter one afterward. Media Molecule's Fun-ny | 2009-04-19 00:36:00 Author: Night Angel Posts: 1214 |
