No one knows yet. There's been some rumors floating around of a possibility, but nothing's guarenteed. I'm with you - I hope we get one.

I probably wouldn't say "I'm willing to pay $xxx" for something because publishers usually take that and then add a bit more $$$ to it and then sell it at an overinflated price.

As an Australian we've been subjected to overinflated prices for decades GRRR!

I have to imagine that they'd have a collector's edition. Too many people have to have a real Sackboy. Maybe the collector's edition would have some of the other preorder bonuses as well.

if they planned on it, i'm sure they woulda marketed it at the same time of the plain old one... and yes, i would dish out 70-100 bucks for a special edition with extras... only if their worth it!!

maybe some sweet creations that only come with the special ed, and maybe a sackboy plushee

yeah I would totally get a special edition, but also I don't like them that much. Because if it is a really nice addition than why not just provide it to everyone, why do they always add some special edition, and than it usually is not special anyways they later release it on the PSN. Now hey if you want to make a special edition, than why not give stuff to your loyal fans, that support your game from the beginning, instead of putting it out there later. A example of this was Spider-man 3, Green Goblin was only for the special edition but later released on the PSN but nothing NEW for the people who bought the special edition. grr

To be honest, I think they threw away the idea of a "special edition" when they marketed the different exclusive items with a preorder. Can you imagine all of the irritated gamers who pre-ordered their copy, just to find out there's an even better version? I know I'd be ******.

I haven't seen a collectors version anywhere BUT for some odd reason a Dutch distributor has it in the database as

Little Big Planet (Standard Edition) PS3

Strange huh? Must mean there will be another version down the line I guess.

Ya a collectors edition would be sweet. I really liked the Bioshock special edition with the Big Daddy figurine and a making of DVD. I think that would be perfect have a sackboy with a random making of DVD maybe throw in some stickers to personalize your sackboy. Theres still a couple months left so something might happen, just looking over the counter at any eb games it seems like every other game has a special edition now so i'm holding out hope for this.

Personally I'd recommend waiting until release and buy it at saturn or mediamarkt, they usually have good prices the first week of release.
