LBPA (Little Big Planeteers Anonymous)

The Steps:

Admit that we are powerless over LBP - that our lives have become unmanageable.

Come to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

Made a decision to turn our will and our moon over to Mm (as we understand them).

Made a searching and fearless inventory of our profiles.

Admitted to Mm, to ourselves, and to another creator on the forums the exact nature of our level's bugs.

Were entirely ready to have Mm remove these bugs.

Humbly asked Mm to repair our unloadable save files.

Made a list of all F4F levels we have not played and became willing to play them all.

Played these levels and left feedback, except when to do so would just be too mean.

Continued to tweak our levels based on others feedback.

Sought through patience and long downloads to improve our throughput to Mm, seeking only quality DLC.

Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps, we tried to create really awesome levels and help others to do the same through the forums.

Hi, I'm v0rtex, and I'm a creator...

I've been playing Little Big Planet since Christmas and I don't think I've seen the sun for more than 20 minutes consecutive since I started.

Good lord..... he's RIGHT! We need a support goup!

Ok, I'm not as bad that. However, I have not played another video game since LBP came out - which means I'm saving a lot of money. However, the AMOUNT of time I spend has dramatically increased because it takes soooo long to build a quality level.

Sometimes I wonder if it's an addiction. But I think it's just me being surprised to play a game with THAT much replay value in this day and age.

Let's face it, there's no game i've played this much since SNES times. Since the time I had nothing else to do than playing video games during the week-end (yeah, girls came late outta here).

I haven't played any other games extensively since LBP launch. I spend ridiculous amount of time making my levels. I somehow manage to still only play like around 15 hours a week. (aka, I still have a life).

Whereas I have no life............
Quality levels are great to play, but even better to make!
There should be a real word for people addicted to LBP - like Littlebigaddicts (LBA's)

Hi, my name is GrantosUK (GruntosUK) and I'm a little LittleBig-aholic.

Most free time the PS3 is on, either playing or creating. First thing I did when I woke up this morning was switch on the PS3 to check plays and comments on the new level, then onto to LBPCentral to check my thread. Sad I know, but a fact of life the wife has come to expect since last November

Very good points V0rtex, but they ring home very true.

Won't you send it to Sony or buy another one?

Hi - I'm Morgana, and I'm most certainly addicted to LBP. But you guys already know that

I work - drive home - eat - post here - play - post here - play - post here - do something around the house I can no longer put off - play - sleep.

Some days are better than others..... on those days substitute "create" for one of the plays! LOL. If I've got a problem - I'm not sure I want help at this point.

Great idea for a thread Vortex2002.... might be a fun concept for a level too. Ya know - 12 steps illustrating why LBP is addictive/fun?

It actually could be shock therapy - have the player do things they would normally do in a level.... but they always turn out having a bad affect and killing them!!! There ya go.... you're cured!

It worked with the original ET video game.... ended up causing the entire video game industry to crash.
