I was just looking at the release schedule for the PS3 and decided to take a note of what games I`ll be buying this year, to see how much I`ll be spending etc and thought it might be an idea to see what everyone else will be getting. InFamous: I think it looks really good. The open city + super powers just clicks with me for whatever reason and I`ll be getting this on day one. Prototype: Same as above really! It`s the spiritual successor to Hulk: Ultimate Destruction and that game was great fun so this one goes on the list too. Ghostbusters: I might wait for reviews of this one before I buy it, as I`m scared it`ll suffer from the movie licence curse. However it does look awesome and even of the gameplay is only average, I`m sure the writing will lift the game up to a higher standard. Batman Arkham Asylum: Wasn`t the slightest bit interested until I saw the recent video with Batman hiding in the shadows and planning out attacks rather than just beating everyone up left right and centre. Modern Warfare 2: The first one introduced me to online play and I think it may well be my most played game ever. Evolution rather than revolution required here and if it`s anything less than incredible I`ll cry. Heavy Rain: Might turn out to be crap, in which case I`ll give it a miss, but I really like the idea and hoping they can make a game that lives up to their ambitions. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves: This is my most wanted. I loved the first and the footage from the second so far looks amazing, despite being shot on a camera phone. Can`t wait! There are a few others that I'll probably pick up used, or when the price drops like Wolverine, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and Ooperation Flashpoint 2. What will you be picking up in the near future?

Well, here goes, eh? InFamous: Electricity makes such a cool super power. I like the karma system in this one. Prototype: I was sold on this when I saw the "Top 10 Reasons You Need Prototype" video. Ghostbusters: It's Ghostbusters! Brutal Legend: This one looks interesting. Tim Schafer's games are pretty fun, so I have high hopes for this one. Uncharted 2: I loved the first one, and the second one looks even better. Excitebots: Super sandwich! Fat Princess: This will be fun for multiplayer. The Legendary Starfy: I've been waiting for this series to come out in the states for what seems like ages! Fez: This one reminds me of Cave Story a little bit, with a touch of Echochrome. Ugh, I can't think of any more at the moment... I know there are more on my to buy list, though...

Don't Yell at me for this one: Killzone 2. Yep, still haven't got it. Yet, I don't really care. I'm too addicted to LBP and Pokemon I want a DS for the new Pokemons (stupid slow laggy emulators!) InFamous: I blame the Karma trailer. It looked awesome! Brutal Legend: Tim Schafer is awesome. Psychonauts was easily the BEST GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED, too bad my copy broke. Anyone who didn't buy it deserves to burn. WHITE KNIGHT CHRONICLES!!! I was one of those kids who likes First Person Shooters, but now it's just getting ridiculous. Game developers: You will never recreate Halo. Never. This game sounds awesome, though. I could see myself really getting into it. Hm...All this RPG talk has me wanting to go beat FFXII. Final Fantasy XIII This is still a "maybe" for me. It looks a lot like an action game. Borderlands This will be an awesome game. Not sure if it will come out this year, but it will be awesome. Remember when we're all playing 4 Player Co-op in a high speed Mad-Max style car chase to thank me. And... that's about it. Most other games I buy a little bit after they come out or only get hyped for right before they come out. I might have to buy some old games. Never played any Team Ico games...

PJ Eden encore i'm a big pixeljunk fan, and Eden was an awesome game Fat Princess saw a trailer of it yesterday, looked cool and i need more multiplayer games Fez love indie games, been following this one for a while Patapon 1 and 2 - i need a psp first D: Street Fighter 4 i need a multiplayer game so my friends don't get bored when they come to my house.. oh and it looks cool too i'm sure there's a few more but i can't think of any

I once loved them but pretty much didn't like any since FF9. I LOVE SRPGs though. I'm a total Fire Emblem madman. I'm interested in Brutal Legends just because I have high respects for Tim Shafer. But this time since the game is more like some beat 'em up, it doesn't hit my heart like Psychonauts did... .

Okay, I love cute little games like Fat Princess, it reminds me of Castle Crashers for the 360, except it's more multiplayer friendly, day one buy if it's 15 and under, which it probably will be since it's a PSN game.

OH OH OH! Oh my god. Anyone here get Game Informer? While I usually hate the magazine, they ALWAYS manage to get the best exclusive stuff...which is weird. Probably because you can get a 12 month subscription for like, 5 dollars, but this issue they talked about Assassin's Creed 2. It looks soooooooo good! GRR!!! I hope it comes out this year, but it probably won't. It COULD though.

Uncharted 2: Loved everything about the first game and love Naughty Dog so definite buy. GOW3: Won't be out this year but first day buy when it comes out. Pixeljunk Eden Encore: Still playing through the original but playing it a lot more frequently lately. Excellent game, very original and stays fresh especially if you play it like I have and get all Spectras and seeds in a Garden before moving onto the next one. Can't wait to see what the surprise is when you get all the spectra. Supposedly it completely changes how you play the game so that playing it all over again will be fun. Assassin's Creed 2 if it comes out this year. I think there's a decent chance of that. Infamous: Never played the Sly series, really regretting missing out on them now. Game looks very good, not quite as fun as Prototype, the pace seems slower but I don't mind that. The world looks excellent, the gameplay looks fun and well designed and the boss in one the vids looked excellent. Almost definitely picking it up. Prototype: Looks very hectic, fast-paced and fun. Very high on my list. My only concern is that it will get repetitive. Also I heard that you start the game with all powers (ie. in the future) and then go back to the beginning. I absolutely HATE that. Batman: Really looks excellent. Love stealth games so this should satisfy that need easily. Also the hand-to-hand combat looks great. Looking forward to it but might not buy it straight away. May get Fat Princess if funds allow but I'm not big on MP games so might skip it. I'll see. Also still need to pick up RE5 and may end up getting Riddick. Oh wait forgot The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf. Should be excellent! And almost definitely getting Trine, it looks fantastic!

Bioshock 2: I've read lots about this game, and I'm pretty sure I'll prefer this one to the first. Batman Arkham Asylum: Basically, I like what I've heard and seen. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves: It's hard to not buy this game, especially after you've experienced the thrill of the first. Overlord II: You probably haven't heard of this one, but I beat the first game, therefore I have to play the second.

Just meaning that if there's DLC your should buy in your life it's the MGS pack. It's just that the content it gives (especially if you like to create) is very very very useful. In overall, it's ridiculous underpriced compared to any other DLC for any game to date. Scratch that, it's the only DLC that has been priced right since the beginning of time. Everything out here is clearly overpriced bull... .

I never bought DLC in my life before the MGS pack, it's $ - new content ratio is pretty good. Although I guess it's a bit moot since you can play with the paintinator even if you don't have it... it's mostly for creators and loners who like the MGS pack levels (I thoroughly enjoyed playing them alone and local MP)

But you only have to read the comments in your LBP levels, play Ken 40 million times in SFIV, watch players spawn camp with a rocket launcher in KZ2 and swear as someone team kills for a laugh on CoD4 to see that online games live and die by who plays them. I can play the games I mentioned with friends without any problems and with the bonus of avoiding the net morons. With MAG however, you will have no choice but to play with strangers. You might get lucky when you play CoD4 and you get 12 guys who will play properly. You will never get 256 people playing online without some ruining it for everyone else.

Capture flag, team death match etc so the numbers will be spreading out. Plus LBP sold 2 million copies so far, so there are a lot of folk to choose from. If there is a way for people to ruin the game, they'll find it. Whether it is glitching out if the map, spawn camping, killing team mates or whatever, you can be rest assured folk will exploit something. With 256 people playing the one game, the chances of you having a moron in your team will be a lot higher than usual. I will agree that Warhawk doesn`t have folk ruining it so we can all hope it`s like that. However I would say that MAG`s closest relative right now is SOCOM as it`s by the same people. by most accounts that`s pretty duff so I`m not getting my hopes up yet.
