Heres an easy way to make a gas that reacts to physics: gasify a spike. Unfortunately, it has the death point still, and it can only be one shape, but its still solid gas.

Metal gas solid! lol, nice. But really? didn't know you could gassify spikes, or the fact that its stil solid, nice finding.

It's a shame it is only one shape... Though I think you can probably stick loads together, then use the emitter-shrink glitch to make a sphere of "solid gas"...

Wait, does it still kill you? If so, then it would onlt help for support, tho you could just de-gassify the objecct, put it how you need it to be and gassify it again.

Got some new updates: I went insane with the gas tool. Here's what I found: Rockets can be turned into gas. They act like normal gas, except that when attached to an object, they act like rockets. Button switch can be turned into gas. You die when you hit it, but it is another shape of solid gas Two-way and Three-way switches can be turned into gas. The whole thing reacts to gravity still, but only the sponge is "solid". Incidentally, you can grab the sponge. Shotgun using this in a puzzle level - the switch still works when you pull on the sponge! (That is made of gas) Jetpacks are also gasifyable. They act like normal gas, but supply you with a jetpack if you go near but don't run straight into the gas. Race entrances/exits are gasifyable, but you can jump straight through the bars that normally block you in the entrance gate. Incidentally, when behind glass the race gate is invisible, so this could remove the ugly race gate from your level. Bombs are gasifyable, but impact can't be impacted, and trigger can't be triggered. And neither react to physics. All lights are gasifyable, but both candles are also partially solid gas (ie, only the candle and not the stick of the long one etc.) The flame still remains. The football is gasifyable, but no special effect from this. Red stiletto from Bits And Bobs is SOLID GAS. Balloons - gasifyable, they still float, only the grabbable bit is solid. Oh and you can grab the grababble bit still. Black boot and sideways milk carton are also solid gas. No Sackpersons beyond this point - gasifyable, not solid. As you can see, various objects have various effects when gasified. Why not try out some?
