| I got mine recently. The quality is amazing. If you want it for speech as well, you'll need an earpiece to hear people you are talking to while playing the game. | Over in the land of Oz they charge us AU$75 (cheapest price I could find) which is almost more than LBP costs in American dollars. Wow though my friends and I were fooling around with that at like 3 in the morning and i think some of our videos are priceless we did a fake birth even i love playstation eye especially for SINGSTAR. | The Playstation EYE looks quite cool. I might buy it I think you should look into it, there is some really neat stuff. But my friend is waiting to see if they have a bundle of LBP with a eyetoy since it seems like it will be pushing the eyetoy. But I think it is fun but hard to find, but you can do video chat with other PSN friends, you can make movies and take pictures. Just make sure to get eyecreate and have some funn with it. It really has some cool features on there. Well it's not HD quality by any means but for a webcam it's excellent with decent size vids and a truly excellent refresh rate. | So, I wasn't gonna buy the PS3 Eye but, I found a deal I couldn't pass up. Hopefully, those of you wanting a PS3 Eye can also bank on this. My local Walmart had the PS2 EyeToy on clearance for 25$ and the standalone PS3 Eye for 40$. In the lock-up, there was one copy of Eye of Judgement which, it turns out, happened to be bundled with the PS3 Eye for 29.99$ Keep your eyes open for this because, that bundle is probably being phased out. I haven't even opened the package yet but, I will be sure to post up and let you all know what I think of it... if you want. For those of you who actually live in or around Orlando, I got the last one at the Altamonte Springs, FL Walmart so, I wouldn't waste my time with that store. | if your creative and you want to make sure you have every resource for LBP get the eye otherwise I don't think everyone needs it. All you need is a friend who owns a eye send them a image over aim or internet then they take a pic with the eye and give it as a prize on a level or if you can trade even easier.
