LBPGolfNA-Par3 with custom music

Archive: 3 posts

hi i made a short golf level.
Is prety basic you have a golf cart that follows you and you can use it to adjust your swing power and move your golfer around. You grab the ball and hang on and he the golfer hits you and the ball. Thn you have to use the golf cart that will come up to your position and you can grab stuff on there to set up your golfer for the next swing. once at the greeen you have to use the paint gun to put the ball in. Also includes custom music for the level that follows you around where ever you go. (and you win the tune for play the level through)

Looking for some feedback so that would be appreciated.

thanks

Well, i just played your level through, and i really like the tune. very nice.
i think i got 6th place, off a lucky hole-in-one.

anyhow, i think the level looks very cool. im curious as to why you threw in so many paintinators at the green though...

the play was pretty good, with the sole exception of the unreliability of the hitter. one time he'd hit me past the hole, another he'd barely chip it.

oh, that cart is remarkably fast by the way. holy crap. it nearly rolled over a few times... is that why you made it out of styrofoam?

OK! that is my critical feedback, if you've made it this far, that means i haven't made you cry... if you arent crying, go back and read the previous again =)

Now here is the good stuff-

very ingenuitive using the paintinator to putt. i like that alot! its funny when you see something and think to yourself "theres no way i would have though of that!"

I think this is the only one where you go flying with the ball, and not inside it. it made me laugh, because sackboy just holds on for dear life.

the tutorial was a bit cumbersome, just because you had to hit each button, but the angles put everything you need in view, and the instructions were clear and easy to understand.

anyway, i gave your level 5 stars and a heart, simply because i played it 14 times and had to make myself get up and come to the computer to give you some feedback. great job, i hope to see a longer course (if that's possible) in the future!

paintinators cover the green so you cant just drag the ball in. if you get a hole in one a bunch of points rain down on the green. so that i just a safeguard to make it a little harder to cheat for a hole in one (grabbing the ball more than once or shooting the ball with paint gun cancel the bonus points). plus after i did that i liked it better becuase you dont have to look around for the paintinator if you were hit past it or in front of it, depending on where i decide to put only one paintinator

this is one i couldnt get to work perfect since i decided to put the speed switch on the wobble bolt for the power adjustment. if anyone has an idea of how you can adjust the power of the swing while still having a directional switch on the wobble bolt that would be helpful. although if you noticed the golfers eyes moving those are set to the same timing as the swing so you can use that to help your timing ... by the way i was debating my self wheater to set the defualt power to all the way up, down, or in the middle. (maybe i could add a swing flow guage that moves horizontal, instead of the eyes)

didnt want the player to wait to long there lol ... so there is a crazy driver. i dont think it can flip over though i played it a bunch

thanks for checking it out
