my extreme rollercoaster!!!!!!

Archive: 11 posts

i have my rollercoaster done, an it is a 5 STAR!!!!!!
but apart from that, it is only 18 plays and 4 hearts....
can anyone come and help raise my plays?
im fine with giving people h4h/ 5star for 5 star WHATEVER YOU WANT

my first 5 star and nobody plays it

so basically what im saying is ;
1. find me (twins2004), or the level "extreme rollercoaster"
2. try the level,
3. heart it if you like, (trust me you wont be dissapointed)
4. please, PLEASE, P.L.E.A.S.E! keep the 5 star going....
and i'd love some suggestions / feedback, i wouldn't mind "switching" some things, but i cant add its 99% full....

PS: BECAUSE THE LEVEL IS FILLED WITH LIGHTS, (AND TONS OF THUNDER SOUNDS)
im thinking of naming it "light'n'thunder rollercoaster" or "light'n'thunder coaster"
catchy eh?

Nothing. There are just a lot of roller coasters out there (which is fine - I enjoy roller coasters personally). My suggestion, if it has good ratings so far, is you keep periodically posting so it goes into cool levels in order to pick up plays in greater quantity. I'm sure some here will also play, but mainly the showcase is for getting feedback and improving, not necessarily for getting plays (however, there's nothing really wrong with getting plays here either).2009-04-06 02:01:00

thanks for your advice, but id rather have people here to try to keep it 5star, plus republishing isnt getting plays for me its REALLY odd, and trust me, this isnt any normal rollercoaster, lets say theres 250 coasters, id name it ... #10-20 its quite good, give it a try 2009-04-07 01:07:00

I'll check it out tonight, but keep in mind - the system changed. If you don't change SOMETHING in your level and republish it doesn't go into cool pages anymore. So I generally put a little piece of dark matter in there and move it a little, save, and republish. Maybe the reason no one is playing it is no one can see it.

Also, on this site it generally helps to get attention if you use the feedback-for-feedback system. All you need to do is tag your showcase thread with "F4F". You can play and give some proper feedback of someone elses level and request they give you feedback. This helps everyone to get feedback, as well as gets more attention for your level.

Ok, I played this. It's definately a nice roller coaster. However, first impression - you need to do a little more going on in the background to differentiate it from the other roller coasters.

Right now, mostly you're looking at spinning colored lights in the background. However, once you suddenly go through a really cool lit tunnel, or the camera angle changes, or you use some cool lighting to blur things - these details are the things that will, over the course of hitting cool levels, really make it exciting. It would be great if you did a few more of these things to keep it interesting.

Issue: The first time I played the roller coaster stopped RIGHT before it hit the end of the track where the pistons lower you. So, the coast was stuck there indefinately. I had to jump down to the ground to finish. So, you may want to do a tiny boost near the end just to make sure it works properly.

Great work - I would love to see this get a lot of plays. Just work on the aesthetics a bit and you're there.

For coaster level enthusiasts it's a fun coaster!

It's very smooth - barely any of the jerky camera action that affects so many coaster levels. Coaster itself is nicely designed and fast. Depending on your TV and personal preference it's a bit dark in some spots but there are lots of lights and some really cool visual effects in spots.

If you like coasters and interesting lighting effects it's a good level to play.
